The predictive model of the living room is developed by training a feed forward RNN and then optimisation algorithms are used to calculate the optimal flowrate for the radiators. Three optimisation algorithms: Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, and Sequential quadratic programming (SQP) optimization algorithm are investigated to calculate the optimal control input. The accuracy of the control scheme is verified by simulations using International Building Physics Toolbox (IBPT). It was found that mean squared error (MSE) for PSO is 38.87% less than GA and the MSE for PSO is 21.19% less than SQP. The RNN model based optimization technique is further compared with model predictive controller (MPC) designed for the radiator based heating system. The comparison results showed that the proposed RNN technique minimize the energy consumption and maintains accurate room thermal comfort according to the predicted mean vote (PMV) based setpoints.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"2015 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127672069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study addresses these problem by designing an ideal bank crisis based on four types of early warning indices of endogenous risk, capital and asset safety, profitability, and liquidity. An early warning model of commercial bank crises is created based on a novel modified Gray relational analysis. This model is capable of classifying banks into three levels of crisis and of evaluating the final crisis value. This study also performs an empirical analysis. Results demonstrate that an early warning model of commercial bank crises classifies and orders the sample data based on forecasting criticality. The model was tested during the risky events in China's commercial banks in mid-2013. The 62 sample banks were all preferably safe in 2012. The risk control of the city commercial banks was better than that of large and joint-stock commercial banks. However, the possibility of crisis growth in China's commercial banks remains.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114240184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, the security and privacy issues of the transmitted data have increasingly an important concern in multimedia technology. In this paper, we propose applicable and secure video encryption algorithm. This makes secure video encryption feasible for realtime application. The proposed algorithm concentrates in general on the symmetric key cryptographic technique. Characteristically, the multimedia technology which has been usually used by public users is resulting in a key exchange problem and normally a trusted intermediate authority takes this responsibility. In this paper, we have proposed a novel video encryption algorithm based on the speaker voice to generate a public key which eliminates the need for a trusted third party for key exchange. The generated public key from the speaker's voice is used to encrypt of the transferred digital multimedia over the open communication channel (i.e. Internet). The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm is very secure and has on average only 5.4 ms of encryption time per frame, which is significantly smaller compared to the state of the art secure video encryption algorithms.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124956159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it always separately focuses on the weapons and equipment to evaluate with little consideration of their context. Besides, currently weapons and equipment operational effectiveness simulations within their context gain extensive attention of weapons and equipment design and manufacturing departments. OPM (Object Process Methodology) is a methodology for design and development of complex systems and its model owns natural executable property, which is suitable for describing the context. So in the paper, to support weapons and equipment operational effectiveness simulation within their context, we use OPM to model the context, and then translate the OPM model to and integrate it in WESS (a weapon effectiveness simulation system we developed) as a simulation model, supporting weapon effectiveness simulation to run within its executable context. An example is designed finally to validate the method.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125207275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to limited lifetime of sensor batteries, varied approaches to extend the lifetime are intensively investigated. Recently, wireless energy charging technologies, especially the magnetic resonant coupling, have been resorted to offer sufficient energy supply for individual sensors. Seeking even higher efficiency of these wireless charging is desirable. This paper revisits the multi-node charging of the magnetic resonant coupling technology, which has higher charging efficiency and also longer charging distance when compared to other two wireless charging technologies. Our main contribution lies that we find that multi-node charging is not always beneficial and we also present an algorithm for calibrating positions of the mobile wireless charger under multi-sensor charging mode without a priori charging efficiency statistics.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127090696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The whole operating envelope is divided into several design points firstly. And then, control state deviation based LQR controllers are designed for design points respectively. Thereafter the FGS controller is obtained by the use of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model. In the next step, the 6-DoF nonlinear simulation conveys that the stability of off-design points is guaranteed and the proposed controller is capable of maintaining a satisfactory tracking performance under uncertainties among the operating envelope.","PeriodicalId":251022,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE International Conference on Control Science and Systems Engineering","volume":"15 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133413340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
