Although many applications can be used for this task, there are still obvious limitations that require improvement. In this paper, location-aware mobile system is developed using Bluetooth Low Energy technology (BLE). The Apple iBeacon protocol that utilises BLE technology is used for this system, which aims to help event organisers to enhance attendees' experience by providing location-based content such as PDFs, images and videos. To explore the findings, an experiment was carried out on an event with different scenarios. As a result, the range of beacon device was approximately 40 meters which is an acceptable range for delivering the content as planned. In addition, all of the beacons were broadcasting content to attendees in expected manner, which resulted in high success rate. Regarding the response time, users did not exceed 10 seconds for retrieving content.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134364907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article presents a concept of a smart home that reminds the resident the activities he has planned on an interactive calendar. The goal is to evaluate the feasibility of the activities recognition and to study the acceptability of such a device. A proof of concept has been carried out in the DOMUS laboratory smart home to evaluate how people react when facing activity reminders. Twelve adults executed sixteen activities that were part of a one-hour morning routine. The participants were recalled for the activities they have not performed on time. The recognition program Pradha presents a fairly good accuracy rate (73%), as the learning phase is based on activities that have been performed by other people who have not been taking part of this experiment. The participants relied on the vocal reminders and expressed satisfaction after using an interactive calendar that remembers important activities.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133490737","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It should be noticed that the reuse is an eternal grail to increase projects productivity. It may concern all aspects of the life cycle of project development that ranges from user requirements to codes. In this study, we focus on user requirements. In such a context, each company (site) has already expressed its own requirements using different modeling formalisms, conceptualizations and vocabularies and scheduling of tasks. This situation makes the reuse and exploitation of the requirements harder, since the heterogeneity is everywhere. To reduce this heterogeneity, the most important studies assume the existence of pivot models and shared ontologies that allow reducing heterogeneities. Unfortunately, these hypotheses are out of phase with the reality, in which the sites are autonomous and usually multilingual. In this paper, we propose to relax these hypotheses. Firstly, we propose a framework for requirements integration using an ontology-based matching system that identifies and unifies different heterogeneous items. Secondly, a reasoning mechanism is proposed to deduce relationships between integrated requirements. Finally, our proposed framework is evaluated w.r.t its feasibility, results quality and effectiveness. A tool, called MURGROOM implementing the framework is also proposed.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130149339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Usually the so called supermarket approach is applied on these service markets, where consumers buy offered services from providers based on fixed functional and non-functional characteristics without negotiations. However, bilateral multi round negotiation, which allows to customize the traded services, is considered as a promising improvement to the static supermarket approach aiming for higher market efficiency. In this paper we introduce a novel generic service market ecosystem from which requirements for bilateral negotiation strategies are derived. Evaluating a survey on published bilateral negotiation strategies along these requirements shows that important market elements are not considered in current research. Most of the published bilateral negotiation strategies are focusing on a single negotiation phases only neglecting the complete negotiation process. Hence we classify the identified strategies along the different phases of the generic negotiation process. Based on our analysis we identify two different groups in their scientific approach: One group assumes complete information during bilateral negotiations while the other group assumes incomplete information.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116494130","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Neuroevolution is a flexible yet robust way of evolving such networks and it has been applied in a variety of fields from learning behaviour in games to solving classification problems. Neat is one of the most powerful approaches when it comes to neuroevolution. It can handle both behaviour learning as well as classification problems. The downside of neuroevolution is the time it takes to reach a solution as evolving both weights and structure comes at great costs. Meta-NEAT offers a way to optimize the convergence rate of NEAT through the use of an additional genetic algorithm built on top of NEAT. It adds an additional layer which learns optimal hyper-parameter configurations in order to boost the convergence rate of NEAT. The obtained configurations are thus useful as they both reveal the most important aspects of a network's evolution and greatly speed up the evolution process. The difficulties of crossing over in the context of neuroevolving topologies and a novel approach to it are also presented. The problems on which the approach was tested on range from behaviour learning problems to classification problems.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128669514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a significant shift from using manual human approach to decision support tools that provides a semi-automated screening phase by reducing the required time and effort. Text classification is useful in determining the statistical significance level of association rules to reduce workload in the systematic review. Several approaches to generate a Rule set for rule based classifiers were proposed in the literature. In this paper, we show that statistic as well as semantic measures of a rule can be combined and effectively computed as a hybrid feature selection rule measure (HFSRM). Moreover, we propose a new algorithm called Rules7-hybrid feature selection (Rules7-HFSRM) by combining the classical algorithm Rules7 and the HFSRM and then used it on the systematic review problem. Our results show that our algorithm significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art benchmark algorithms in the systematic review context.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133731376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper focuses on the grouping of the \"incidents\" in sentences. One of the problems to group the incidents is that the sentences input by caregivers are redundant. In other words, the sentences contain care information which were related to the incidents, but were unnecessary for the grouping. In order to extract the incident information from the sentences, we divide them into sub-sentences for every verbs and auxiliary verbs. Similarities among sub-sentences are used for the grouping and the accuracy is evaluated with the precision. As a result, we found that a sub-sentence containing seven words is good for the grouping.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133913474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During lectures, usually English language is used for the communication between students and teachers. However both sides, not necessarily being native speakers of English, may misunderstand each other. In this paper we propose a method for correction of non-native English speakers' speech, based on the domain focused electronic document. The method relies on the results of speech recognition (SR) software, and uses them altogether with the document. Our approach consists of three steps. Firstly, document analysis in the preprocessing phase. Secondly, finding the document part corresponding to sentence from SR software, realised using the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) based method. Finally, the correction by calculating the score for each of candidate sentences, based on the result of SR software. The probability score combines keywords comparison, BM25F method and HMM based method scores. Highest score candidate is chosen as replacement.","PeriodicalId":247823,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130738880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
