A heuristic checklist for usability evaluation of Saudi government mobile applications

Abstract

Usability of government mobile applications is essential for the effective use by end users. However, the lack of mobile application usability checklist tailored to the governmental sector is a problem that needs to be tackled. In this paper we report our experience in drafting a heuristic checklist, based on previous usability metrics, tailored for government mobile applications and apply it on a sample of Saudi government mobile applications.
