The antenna design has to fulfill the requirements of the IBM CMOS process and the MEMS post CMOS processing. The antenna is coupled directly to the sensor, a MOSFET bolometer. Because of this direct coupling and the need for real time imaging, only extremely physically small antennas are feasible. This antenna has advantages of low-profile structure and having a directional radiation pattern. The direction of the main beam is directed parallel to the longest part of the dogbone element. It is observed that the active T-CNP can achieve a scattering gain at a frequency near 600 THz. The size of the gain is affected greatly by how the T-CNP antenna is illuminated with the incident plane wave. The gain of the T-CNP antenna with its axis along the direction of the incident E-field is 27.5 dB, while it is only 1.0 dB when the axis of the T-CNP antenna is parallel to the incident wave vector. This antenna is based on a semi-loop near field parasitic element driven by an electrically small monopole antenna. The system has a dimension of λ0/24×λ0/24 and works in the UHF band, with a simulated efficiency of 14% and an average maximum gain of -5.6dB in the matched bandwidth of 18.4MHz. This antenna is then used in a two elements compact parasitic array, in order to achieve a higher directivity. The two elements of this array are identical, but only one of them is driven, the other one is used as a parasitic element. The basic unit cell of the MMAs consists of a periodic arrangement of an electric-LC (ELC) resonator and a square loop structure. The absorption bandwidth of a MMA is effectively extended by combining five unit cell structures with different geometric dimensions into a co-planar unit cell. MB OFDM UWB technology has the potential of replacing other wireless technologies within the Personal Area Networks (PANs). Currently MB OFDMUWB devices operate below the expected performance which is largely due to its EIRP limit and frequency selective fading. This bottle neck can be reduced by implementing adaptive modulation in the system. In this Paper, channel measurement of different scenarios has been carried out. The scenarios are model of realistic environment where UWB devices will operate. Effects of different number of human subjects in various movement patterns are studied. Embroidered tags using conductive threads are strong candidates for the implementation of wearable antennas. They provide several important features, such as flexibility, integrability, and light-weight structures. In this paper, the on-body performance of embroidered dipole-type ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID tags is studied. First, modeling techniques for the embroidered tag antennas and for the human body are presented. The stacked dielectric layers and two probes-fed were used to make the dual-frequency and dual-circularly polarized antennas into one antenna's area. The antenna was simulated by method of moment (MoM) to confirm its parameters. The measurement results showed that the antenna's performance was matched with simulated. The relative bandwith more than 15% (dual frequency, VSWR≤2.0). The beam gain in 110 degrees is higher than 0dBi; the AR is less than 3dB in band.
