In this case, parents, teachers, and the surrounding community are responsible for children's language development through digital media, one of which is media use. This study aims to describe the role of caregivers in stimulating children's language development through smartphone media. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, through primary data as a source of research data originating from related parties obtained from respondents; this study uses a questionnaire data collection technique with two closed answers (yes/no) and is equipped with open questions obtained online through the Google forms platform. The data analysis technique is an interactive model carried out through three stages: data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of this study explain that the use of wise parental supervision will be more effective and effective in increasing the stimulation of children's language development because parents control every child's activity at home. It can be seen from the duration of use. In early childhood, it reaches 47% in the range of 2-3 hours per day, and the application often used by children is YouTube as a way for children to gain mastery of language both orally and in writing. The study results show that caregivers' role in stimulating children's language development is crucial; this can be proven by children who think broadly and are skilled at communicating.","PeriodicalId":244635,"journal":{"name":"JOYCED: Journal of Early Childhood Education","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133388794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The nature-based curriculum is considered effective enough to achieve learning objectives; teachers can easily stimulate six early childhood development aspects. Aspects of early childhood development that experience significant development are in the physical, motoric, and cognitive aspects; it is shown by the development of students who are increasingly proficient in using accomplices during activities. Meanwhile, in the cognitive aspect of early childhood, it is easier to remember what the teacher conveys because they have direct experience. This type of research is a library qualitative approach that obtains data sources through library information such as books, scientific journals, magazines, newspapers, and documents. Data triangulation was done by triangulating sources and techniques through interviews and documentation. This research aims to determine the implementation of early childhood education activities with a nature-based curriculum based on the principles of nature-based learning. The results of this study are the implementation of children's learning with a nature-based curriculum in accordance with the principles and stages of nature-based learning.","PeriodicalId":244635,"journal":{"name":"JOYCED: Journal of Early Childhood Education","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122044146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of the research showed that toddlers experienced gross motoric problems, namely not being able to lie on their stomach, rolling over (turning over and then lying on their backs), and tilting caused by several factors including the birth process by cesarean section, breastfeeding was replaced with formula milk, and lack of stimulus from other people. old. The solution that can be given is to carry out routine checks on child growth and development polyclinics and independent stimulation at home using the KIA, KPSP, DDTK/SDIDTK guide books, as a reference in an effort to overcome problems that occur in these babies.","PeriodicalId":244635,"journal":{"name":"JOYCED: Journal of Early Childhood Education","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133480900","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
