This is the flow that cannot be banned to enter Indonesia. The modern development of technology and the starting of the industrial revolution era 4.0 which stressed the digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, and the robotic system cannot be stopped anymore. Facing this challenge, the teaching and learning activities in school are forced to change, including forming qualified teachers for our future. As we know that a teacher has a big role in education, he is both a facilitator and a guide. These roles give a teacher a bigger responsibility not only to transfer knowledge but also to value teaching. He also needs to facilitate the students to be ready to face the industrial era by giving intensive guidance. Therefore, as teachers, we need to be more creative, selective, and active to accommodate all students’ needs and be more sensitive to the students’ psychological condition. A teacher is not only needed to be good in managing the class but also having good teaching skills, empowering learning sources, understanding students’ emotions, and others. In this program, the facilitator will strengthen the teacher’s skill in using various and updated methods so that it can be made as a reference for teachers of PAI in the high school level.(Pemilihan tema tersebut bermula dari arus globalisasi yang sudah tidak terbendung masuk ke Indonesia. Disertai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih, dunia kini memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0, yakni menekankan pada pola digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, dan robotic. Menghadapi tantangan tersebut, pengajaran di sekolah pun dituntut untuk berubah, termasuk dalam menghasilkan guru berkualitas bagi generasi masa depan. Mengingat posisi pendidik yang sangat signifikan sebagai fasilitator dan pembimbing, maka dari sini sesungguhnya pendidik memiliki tugas yang lebih berat tidak hanya memegang fungsi transfer pengetahuan akan tetapi pendidik juga harus mampu menfasilitasi siswa dalam mengembangkan dirinya disertai dengan bimbingan yang intensif. Oleh karena itu pendidik dituntut untuk lebih kreatif, selektif, dan proaktif dalam mengakomodir kebutuhan siswa guru juga lebih peka terhadap karakteristik maupun psikis siswa. Guru bukan hanya dituntut untuk bisa menguasai teknik pengelolahan kelas, keterampilan, mengajar, pemanfaatan sumber belajar, penguasaan emosional siswa, penguasaan kondisi kelas dan sebagainya. Students are given homework as a way of learning at home. However, this only burdens students and parents. We need a way to increase students’ enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to increase enthusiasm of student in learning at home with mind mapping techniques. It also aims to overcome their boredom in doing assignments that are piled up due to Covid-19 besides not understanding the subject matter. The research method used is action research, because this study applies an action learning at home using mind-mapping techniques. The results showed that learning by using mind mapping technique is able to improve the spirit of student learning because basically, they like learning with media images. Therefore, learning to use mind mapping is highly recommended for use because it can increase the enthusiasm for learning.(Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, kegiatan belajar mengajar dialihkan dari sekolah menjadi belajar di rumah. Siswa diberikan tugas rumah sebagai cara belajar di rumah. Namun, hal itu justru membebani siswa dan orang tua sehingga diperlukan cara untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar para siswa. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa di rumah dengan teknik mind mapping dan untuk mengatasi kejenuhan siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas yang menumpuk akibat Covid-19 sementara mereka tidak memahami materi pelajaran dengan baik. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan, karena penelitian ini menerapkan suatu tindakan belajar di rumah menggunakan teknik mind mapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belajar dengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa karena pada dasarnya, siswa menyukai belajar dengan media gambar. Automatically, teachers are supposed to have English competence in keeping up the students’ development. Islamic education teachers (PAI) are suggested to use English in teaching or at least they use English in giving instruction in Pêrdikan: Journal of Community Engagement | Volume 1, Nomor 1, Juni 2019 2 the classroom. Since this way of teaching is as one of the requirements of an international school. This way is also supporting the school in gaining the people’s trust. The strategy used in empowering the Islamic education teachers in teaching using English is set in a form of community engagement (PKM). The schools chosen are all school under the Asyahidul Kabir institution from the Islamic elementary school, Islamic junior high school, and Islamic senior high school. This engagement is divided into two sessions. First session is for the educating session and the second one is for the practice. For the educating sessions, it is clearly seen that instruction in English help the teacher very much, although the pronunciation still needs to be corrected. While in the practice session, they are still nervous in using some instruction because they have to teach their friends in peer teaching. But overall the sessions ran well. When the facilitator passed these two sessions, she will do some observation on the Islamic education classroom to ensure that they have practiced using English in giving instruction well. The result from the observation show that the weakness of the teacher is in the preparing stage. Permasalahan bahwa guru-guru IPS di Kabupaten Pamekasan, khususnya di MTs Wustha dan MA Al-Ula Kangenan Pamekasan, masih kurang memahami pentingnya peningkatan kualitas evaluasi dan penilaian guru diselesaikan menggunakan pendekatan workshop dengan metode ceramah dengan teknik presentasi materi karya pengembangan profesi dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, sedang masalah kemampuan mengembangkan teknik-teknik evaluasi bagi guru-guru IPS diselesaikan dengan memberikan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat). Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (80%) peserta pengabdian memahami konsep evaluasi, teknik-teknik pembuatan evaluasi pembelajaran dan arti penting peningkatan kualitas pengembangan profesionalitas guru dalam peningkatan kompetensi edukatif guru. Dari tanggapan dan pertanyaan peserta pengabdian, dalam hal ini peserta pelatihan pengembangan teknik evaluasi baik dalam pelajaran IPS maupun pelajaran lainnya bagi guru IPS maka saran yang dapat diberikan adalah agar guru dapat mengembangkan kreativitasnya dalam mengembangkan teknik evaluasi pada pelajaran IPS dan pelajaran lainnya.
