If save our earth, our using/manufacturing products do not affect earth or not spoil the earth. So we want to make eco friendly products. This type of eco friendly products are manufacturing by major constituents of Natural or natural composite materials. Composite materials constitute a significant proportion of the engineered materials market ranging from everyday products to sophisticated niche applications. Natural fibers are worth as weight-saving materials. Natural fibers have been used to reinforce materials for over 3,000 years. Natural fibers have the advantage that they are renewable resources and have marketing appeal. Due to the demand and needs we want to find out new combination eco-friendly materials either recyclable or bio degradable. In this fibers may be using for bio degradable/ recyclable packaging, sealing, and fabrication applications. So we want to study the properties of Maize fibers. Alkaline treating is essential one of Natural fibers treating. Alkaline treated Maize fibers properties are having better Tensile and elongation compare to raw Maize fibers.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"279 12","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132419543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results obtained are compared with those obtained using Fuzzy Logic Controller, Fuzzy Proportional Integral (PI) Controller and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based Fuzzy PI Controller which have been developed for the same application, under the same conditions. The performance of all the controllers are analyzed under the operating conditions of, varying speed no load, varying speed at constant load, varying load at constant speed and varying speed and load simultaneously. The above-mentioned four algorithms have been developed and implemented in Matlab/ Simulink environment and it has been found that the speed regulation by the proposed hybrid PSODE-Fuzzy PI controller is well above the rated values.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133567876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The route break is predicted by using the parameter RSS and node density. The intermediate nodes locally repair the route if any route failure occurs in the network. The received signal strength denotes the power level on the received signal. It is used to estimate the strength of the received signal. If it is low means the link break is expected. The node density is used to describe that the number of nodes available within the communication range. Increase in the number of neighbor nodes increases the transmission delay by competing for obtaining the channel. So, the proposed scheme decreases the transmission delay and avoids route breaks in the network.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131835602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The demand for producing durable construction material is the result of the environmental pollution. Supplementary cementitious materials prove to be effective to meet most of the requirements of durable concrete, RHA is available in plenty to other supplementary materials like silica fume and fly ash, Due to its high pozzolanic activity, both strength and durability of concrete are improved. This paper presents a over view of the work carried out on the use of Indian RHA to improve the strength and durability of concrete.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130655892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are numerous software based watermarking schemes available in literature. There is a gap between image capture and transmission in the way watermarking is used presently. Once the images are acquired watermarks are inserted in them offline and then images are made available. The objective of this work is to implement hardware based invisible watermarking scheme so as to bridge that gap, so that watermarking is done in real time while capturing the image. In this paper, VLSI architecture for implementing invisible watermarking scheme based upon Haar [1]wavelet transformation is proposed. This technique uses a 2D DWT to decompose an image into various frequency channels. A scaled image is used as the watermark and inserted into mid frequency wavelet channel. Taking 2D IDWT of the altered wavelet decomposition produces the watermark embedded image. In order to reduce the complexities of the design, linear algebra view of DWT and IDWT has been use in this paper.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134510503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bone age is a reliable indicator of growth and skeletal BAA is used in the management and diagnosis of endocrine disorders. Bone age can be estimated from the left-hand wrist radiograph of the subject. The strength of the BAA procedure is greatly influenced by the quality of the features exploited and the contribution of the wrist bones employed. The four systems presented work according to the renowned Tanner and Whitehouse (TW2) method, based on the Region of Interest (ROI) taken from the wrist bones. The systems ensure accurate and robust BAA for the age range 0-10 years for both girls and boys.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117207763","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Scratches and cracks are typically unavoidable, but their occurrence must be minimized during the production of high-quality glasses. It is a tiresome method to manually inspect very large size glasses. And also the manual inspection process is slow, time-consuming and prone to human error. Automatic defect detection systems using image processing can overcome many of these disadvantages and offer manufacturers an opportunity to significantly improve the product quality and reduce costs. The Potential defects detection process includes image denoising and Fuzzy C Means Clustering Algorithm. Based upon the PSNR value comparison determines the best filtering approach. Then the Universal Image Quality Index shows the segmentation parameters and Pearson correlation coefficient shows the amount of correlation.","PeriodicalId":242568,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Current Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICCTET)","volume":"1997 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125589501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
