Despite the established presence of small amounts of structural water in these receptors, the influence of bulk water on their function remains unknown. Investigations of osmotic stress effects on the GPCR archetype rhodopsin have provided unique data about the role of water in receptor activation. It was discovered that osmolytes shift the rhodopsin equilibrium after photoactivation, either to the active or inactive conformations depending on their molar mass. Experimentally at least 80 water molecules have been found to enter rhodopsin in the transition to the active state. We propose that this influx of water is a necessary condition for receptor activation. If the water movement is blocked, e.g., by large osmolytes or by dehydration, then the receptor does not undergo its functional transition. The results suggest a new model whereby rhodopsin becomes swollen and partially unfolded in the activation mechanism. Data on the crystal structure and morphology of these nanocomposites obtained by the polymer-salt method are presented. Nanoluminophor has been obtained from the Sr2Y7.695Yb0.3Tm0.005Si6O26 microcrystalline sample by the vacuum electron been evaporation, in the amorphous state, with the ~10.6 nm particle size. It is found, raman spectra undergoing modification by the transition from bulk- to nanosize state. Photoluminescene spectra micro- and nanophosphors are studied. Intensity of the blue emission, by the UV ligth excitation, grows in the x=0.005-0.02 region, with the x increasing. Upconversion photoluminescence (UPCL) spectra of the bulk phosphors and nanosample based on the Sr2Y7.695Yb0.3Tm0.005Si6O26 were measurd. At the pumping power around 70.8 mW, by the laser source with the λ=980 nm, thereshold population of the 3F3 level of Tm3+ ions exist. At a power higher 70.8 mW, a sharp increase of the luminescence intensityof the bulk- and nanophosphor occurs. For the 3H4->3H6 transition thereshold pumping power absent. It is shown that the rate of changing of palladium optical transmittance at hydrogen flow rises linearly with increasing the temperature due to sorption of hydrogen by Pd layer. The rate of changing in optical transmittance of Pd layer during sorption and desorption of hydrogen is established to rise by about one order with increasing the temperature from 300 to 335 K. The curves describing the changing in optical transmittance of palladium nanolayer during hydrogen desorption have two distinct sections: linear and nonlinear. The linear section of the curve weakly depends on temperature, while the nonlinear section sharply rises with increasing the temperature. The maximum efficiency of SRS conversion (~23%) to the Stokes component of the ν1 = 925 cm–1 strongest mode is obtained with a lens with a focal length of 40 mm at the linear focus shift towards the rear facet of the crystal. Угловые распределения при фиксированных значениях J и M не зависят от четности P, а определяются двумя разными функциями полярного угла между относительным импульсом и осями квантования. Матрицы плотности двухфотонной поляризации выведены для каждого значения J, M и P. Подробно проанализированы корреляции линейной поляризации отдельных фотонов. Rроме обычных законов корреляции для J ≥ 2, выраженных через sin и cos угла между ориентациями анализаторов, найдены корреляции по сумме углов ориентаций анализаторов. The influence of europium oxide on the complex of optical and luminescent characteristics of MgAl2O4:Eu ceramics is discussed. The results of experimental studies of 13 liquids in the range 20–700 cm–1 using a high-resolution all-wavelength vacuum Fourier spectrometer (Bruker IFS 125 HR) are presented. The study of methods for their implementation is an important practical problem for various quantum optical and information applications. In this paper, we have considered a protocol for multimode quantum non demolition interaction between an atomic ensemble and multimode light with orbital angular momentum in order to analyze the applicability of this protocol in discrete variables computing. We have developed a multimode interaction Hamiltonian and analyzed the dynamics of field and atomic variables depending on the structure of the driving field. We discuss in detail the procedure for separating qubit noninteracting subsystems on a set of atomic and field modes for various values of the orbital angular momentum of the driving field.
