In order to protect the legitimation of the channel, sparse representation is considered to enhance wireless security by using the unique channel location information. In contrast to traditional approaches, in this paper, we consider that this reconciliation channel is unauthentic, and we formulate this problem as one of improved sparse representation. In this scheme, the position of the primary decomposition coefficients is adopted to ascertain whether the signal comes from legitimate devices or not. The effectiveness of this new process model is validated through experiments and simulations. These results shown that the proposed scheme can achieve desired identification performance even at lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125995227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this scheme, the information bits can be conveyed in two ways, such as being modulated by common modulation schemes and being used to select the spread code to improve the transmission rate through code-selected scheme. Rake receiver and OCC are adopted to collect multipath components and reduce the interferences caused by multipath channel for better system performance. The closed-form system bit error rate (BER) is obtained through MGF. Simulation results and analysis also show the efficiency of the proposed high efficient modulation scheme in different channel models and various numbers of OCC code flocks.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129872818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present an optimization strategy of video coding based on visual-attention area extraction. The proposed algorithm is a three-step method. First, a visual-attention map is generated with a spatio-temporal attention model. Second, we utilize a morphological filter to get a binary mask, and then detect the visual-attention area in the video frame. Finally, to encode the visual attention areas with improved performance, we propose an optimization strategy based on the ABR RC method and mask. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve better subjective visual quality at given bit rates.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125505023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MIMO-OFDM channel can be decomposed into a group of parallel subchannels by singular value decomposition (SVD). Firstly, the subchannels of the first frame are grouped in space domain. Then, the space-frequency domain subchannel groups (SFD-SCGs) with the same size are obtained by a simplified frequency domain grouping algorithm. The optimal algorithm is used to allocate bits and power for these SFD-SCGs, and the allocation results are saved. Finally, the subchannels with the same serial number are divided into a time-domain subchannel group (SCG-TD). For non-first frames, the bit and power allocation on the sorted sub-channels are as the same as the saved allocation results on the subchannels with the same serial number. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has little performance loss compared with the optimal algorithm, but the complexity of the proposed algorithm is significantly reduced.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116096973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is still many shortcomings especially in communication efficiency where routing algorithm is one of them. In the design phase of routing algorithms, only very few features of vehicle nodes are considered manually to improve the classic algorithms e.g. GPSR. This paper studies the features of vehicle nodes and drivers. In addition, we introduce machine learning algorithm in particular Support Vector Machine (SVM) to process the vehicle data and generate routing metric to enhance the effect of these features. This paper studies the methods of analyzing and processing probe car data and also discusses the possibility of applying machine learning algorithms in the generation of VANET routing algorithm. The simulation results show better reliability and communication efficiency is achieved.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121173376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A LDPC code optimization approach is proposed for BPMR channel with media noise, where a reduced-complexity 2D detector based on the iterative row-column soft detection feedback with Gaussian approximation (IRCSDF-GA) detector is employed. Also, the threshold of the proposed LDPC codes is calculated for different percentage of media noise in BPMR.
