In this paper, a new cyclostationary feature detection method based on the correlation between signal and noise is proposed for detection of OFDM based primary users. The proposed scheme aims to improve the noise robustness through making the utmost of the information in the cyclic spectrum of the received signals. Meanwhile, in order to obtain the clearer feature, the signal processing technology is used to deal with the cyclic spectrum. Finally, the classification detection is realized by machine learning. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that proposed method provides superiority detection performance compared to the conventional cyclostationary feature detection, especially in low SNR environment.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116159622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such layouts could efficiently and effectively enhance network coverage and capacity. To achieve multigiabit radio access, millimeter wave (mmWave) frequencies will be used in 5G heterogeneous networks (HetNets). A typical scenario of such HetNets is that mmWave base stations (BSs) are deployed in macro cells to provide high-capacity coverage in hotspots. Directional communication is an essential way for mmWave small cells to increase its coverage area and to reduce interference. Handover (HO), as a key aspect of mobility management, plays an important role in HetNets. However, most existing studies have focused on the impact of key HO parameters on HO performance, assuming ommi-directional antenna configurations. In this paper, we study the impact of the distance between the overlaid macro BSs and the mmWave small BSs with directional antenna configurations on the HO performance. Closed-form expressions of the probabilities of HO, no HO and HO failure are derived. Extensive simulation results are obtained to validate the analytical results.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122367992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Typically, each packet is associated with packet delivery deadline. We are interested in designing feedback-based adaptive network coding schemes with the aim of minimizing decoding delay and video distortion in wireless broadcasting networks over the packet-erasure channel. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of buffer-aided instantly decodable network coding scheme (B-IDNC) to further minimize decoding delay and priority-based unequal packet-priority retransmission scheme (P-UPR) to further reduce scalable video coding (SVC) distortion. Then, we propose a buffer-aided priority-division network coding broadcasting algorithm (BPNC) to support priority transmission for the high-priority packets and the high-priority receivers' packets. Simulation results show that our algorithm significantly reduces decoding delay and the missed deadline percentage, while maintaining high throughput.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122106087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The telecom operator is experiencing unprecedented challenges on service maintenance and operational expenditure, which drives the demand for realizing automation in current heterogeneous networks. Cell outage detection is a functionality aiming to automatically detect and locate outages that occur in radio networks due to unexpected failures. Our work presents an automated cell outage detection mechanism in heterogeneous networks in which a clustering algorithm named Dynamic Affinity Propagation (DAP) is introduced. Minimization of drive test (MDT) measurements are collected and dimensionality reduced during regular operation and then fed into the clustering algorithm to find anomaly cells. The proposed mechanism has been implemented in the HetNet simulation environment, through which we have successfully detected the configured cell outages and located the specific outage areas.","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128266282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, discrete cosine transform (DCT) and quantization are applied to the transmitted images. Different from the data processing of the previous approach for the quantized DCT coefficients, the representation of true form takes the place of complement form. Meanwhile, the high entropy frames will be pre-processed into low entropy frames through frame decomposition procedure due to the entropy of source frame limited by the code-rate of source code. Simulation results indicate that the JSCC scheme with the proposed image pre-processing approach improves the transmission efficiency and can recover the images with good quality at a very low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).","PeriodicalId":240381,"journal":{"name":"2016 16th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124025735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, this paper considered both spreading information and speed of node in dynamic network. The chief influence on adjusted parameters in different network has been estimated. This paper will propose an orthogonal parallel combinatory ASK modulated multicarrier system to achieve flexible bandwidth efficiency (BWE) using low order ASK modulation and parallel combinatory (PC) code. PC code has been shown that it can achieve flexible BWE and better peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) performance. Our proposal will utilize PC code for both I-phase and Q-phase of frequency-domain OFDM symbol which further improve the BWE of PC-OFDM system.
