Due to the battery energy constraints in MANET, energy efficiency is an important factor while designing ad hoc wireless networks. Previous works tried to optimize the AODV protocol by proposing different schemes. In this paper, two solutions have been proposed to control the congestion problem of wireless ad-hoc network in MANET. Some changes have been made in the RREQ packet to calculate the drop factor. The energy-based proposed scheme has been simulated with network simulator 2.35. It is seen from the result that the solutions proposed has performed comparatively better than the traditional AODV with respect of packet delivery ratio, throughput and delay.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116682903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been known that graphene has higher transmittance and conductance and is cheaper than the widely used ITO. Based on the MATLAB simulations, this work proves that graphene can be used as the better alternative than ITO as the transparent conducting layer. Moreover, simulations show that the use of graphene can reduce the amount of CZTS material and hence, reduce the cost of solar cell as optimum absorber width based on maximum possible conversion efficiency is found less for the graphene-TCL based solar cells.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"122 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121097761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Node position is determined by protocols, algorithms and applications. As its network changes rapidly, it is hard to route data among vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure for a protocol. It is also hard to meet every traffic scenario by existing routing protocol. Routing protocol must adapt to rapid change of topology. Several efficient routing protocols were proposed for VANET. Integration of middleboxes, which provides Network Functions (NF)s that are crucial for network security, performance and reliability, raises new challenges, for example, traversing middle-boxes in a given order makes routing more complex. Rerouted traffic flows require that the state of middleboxes that is no longer part of the route is transferred to middleboxes which becomes part of the route. Software-defined Middlebox PoLicy Enforcement (SIMPLE) and OpenNF are two approaches to integrate middleboxes in SDNs which address these challenges. Since they are responsible to enforce middlebox policies, possible design flaws in their architecture could lead to severe vulnerabilities and put security of the network at stake. Therefore, security analysis of SIMPLE and OpenNF was conducted using Microsoft's threat modeling approach called STRIDE, whose results show the threats on these approaches.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125121714","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper a method of detecting cardiac diseases using support vector machine (SVM) is proposed. In this proposed method diseases are modeled using the time domain features of ECG signal which are extracted using BIOPAC AcqKnowledge software. Raw ECG signal contains these useful features which can be used to detect cardiac arrhythmia. The various ECG parameters like heart rate, QRS complex, PR interval, ST segment elevation, ST interval of ECG signal are used for analysis. Based on these parameters of ECG signal, different heart disease like atrial fibrillation, sinus tachycardia, myocardial infarction and apnea are detected. The individual accuracy of tachycardia arrhythmia, MI arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation arrhythmia and apnea proposed by SVM are 83.3%, 86.4%, 88% and 85.7% respectively.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125181681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The photovoltaic energy depends on the solar irradiance and the temperature. To get the maximum power from the PV panel, the idea of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is arrived. Too many algorithms and controllers have been considered in the past to track the maximum power and to reduce the tracking time and also to improve the efficiency of PV panel. In this paper, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) techniques is proposed to track the maximum power. The proposed method has been evaluated by simulation in MATLAB environment. In recent researches, a great emphasize is put on determining the number and distance of objects in the sea. But unfortunately, it's a difficult task due to the badly effect of high absorption, long propagation delay as well as dispersion. However, besides SONAR based techniques, some conventional techniques are also familiar to these aspects. In this research, we have proposed a statistical signal processing approach called Cross-correlation, due to its simplicity and convenience for any environment in the sea. The echo effect of CHIRP signal is used here to determine the number and distance of objects in such underwater networks where three sensors are located due to the task. We have verified this proposed theory by a simulation using MATLAB.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122826291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has become challenging to keep web sites functional and user friendly in a wide range of devices. Responsive Web Design (RWD) steps up to facilitate the necessary support to overcome those challenges with complex cascading style sheet (CSS) and JavaScript defined layouts. Fluidly modified layout that controls appearance of Responsive Web Pages (RWP) is subjected to erroneous when faulty CSS and JavaScript modifies the actual look of the web page. Though several methods have already been proposed to detect layout faults in web pages, they are error-prone and time consuming in nature. Thus an automatic approach considering both CSS and JavaScript defined dynamic layout fault detection technique have been proposed in this paper. Simulation result demonstrates that proposed technique outperforms the existing methods in case of time requirement, memory requirement and fault detection rate.","PeriodicalId":240329,"journal":{"name":"2016 3rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology (ICEEICT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129124595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
