A tunable ε-negative region is obtained at 4.8GHz having a bandwidth value of almost 0.8GHz. A finite array is proposed that mimics the unit cell accurately and the scattering parameters of the array compared with the unit cell. In addition to that the parametric analyses of the unit cell is also performed. Parameter retrieval analysis, which uses a version of the Nicholson-Ross-Weir (NRW) algorithm that is improved by implementing the Kramers-Kronig relationship, is performed by using the magnitude and phase values, which are obtained via CST Microwave Studio. The differences of this methodology among the similar scalarization approaches are its performance and utilization of the reference point set on objective space which is preferred on modern (especially many objective problems) optimization algorithms. Since it is possible to use various optimization algorithms with this scalarization method, in this study a classical (also well-known and relatively complicated) optimization algorithm as a part of nonlinear programming called sequential quadratic programming is preferred. The analysis initially is started by applying this method into two benchmark problems to show the performance of this scalarization function on convex and concave problems and then the idea is applied to optimize the patch antenna problem as a multiobjective real-world optimization problem. Total reflections are adopted for a rough approximation through the tracking of the main reflected and transmitted fields in the multilayered dielectric structure. This approximation can be used to determine the thickness of layers of which the dielectric properties are known. In the study, PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivate) parameters were adjusted to self-adjusting mode via fuzzy logic (FL) applications of Fuzzy-PID algorithm with triangle, trapezoid membership functions (Model 1) and Fuzzy-PID algorithm with gauss and sigmoid membership functions (Model 2). The performance of two models with different membership functions was compared. The compensator was controlled with programmable logic controller (PLC). The purpose of this web application is to allow viewing items and targets in a complex database management system of an archaeological site corresponding to it. An existing piecewise-linear model of a diode is replaced with a new better model using a conventional diode equation. Such a new model results in algebraically simple five minimum terms in three coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Not only are the ODEs reduced from six to five minimum algebraic terms, but also from two nonlinear terms to a single nonlinear term. Better versions of chaotic attractors, a new bifurcation diagram and a new largest Lyapunov exponent are depicted. These modes are frequently excited during a Vertical Displacement Event (VDE) and cause big sideways forces on the vacuum vessel which are difficult to confront. To understand the plasma disruptions in tokamaks and to predict their effects, realistic simulations of these electric currents are required. In the present paper a flat triangle Finite Element (FE) representation of these surface currents excited in a thin conducting wall of arbitrary three-dimensional geometry is described. In a second step we will study how to make a physical simulator wind turbine with a DC motor, then, we present the modeling of the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). The wearable electronics used for physiological monitoring could help in diagnosis or ongoing treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases or with diabetes. The wearable electronics for medical monitoring should be comfortable for the patient and have a design concept for 3D garment products which allow a high portability in the textile flexible structures. For a wearable textile electronic device is important to study the influence of the body temperature for yarn electrical conductivity. The resistivity and electrical resistance for textile materials (yarns, flat textiles - woven, nonwoven or knitted) are important when the conductive textile structures are used to connect sensors or actuators. The textile materials used as support for electronics wearable devices must be also safe for humans and not cause an electrostatic discharge. This paper describes the behavior of the conductive yarn, based on Ag coating, in textile knitted structure by using sewing process. The work presents the conductive yarns parameters variation when the yarn integrated in textile structure is extended. In this work the Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) was used in order to analyze the chemical elements present in the conductive fiber from yarn structure used.
