Conceiving, designing and implementing a dynamic web application for an architecture and restoration online management system

Abstract

This paper presents a methodology for creating dynamic web applications for archaeological management systems with applications in architecture and restoration. The dynamic nature of the application consists in the use of new technologies at partial loading the web page elements. Search results are displayed in real time and lists are populated with existing items in the database when queries are applied. The purpose of this web application is to allow viewing items and targets in a complex database management system of an archaeological site corresponding to it. The application aims at introducing, modifying or deleting the items (buildings) through pages accessible only to limited categories of users (managed by an administrator), thus simplifying the process of counting and specific input data sorting by a computer-aided process.
