The present piece of work contains development, validation and force degradation study for DCV has been carried out by using LC-MS/MS technique. The LC-MS system contains 4000 QTrap along with the Shimadzu LC 20AD LC System, controlled by Analyst 1.4.2 software for present study. For the preparation of standard drug DCV and its marketed formulations the diluent used was acetonitrile: water (50:50v/v). LC system runs with the conditions like use of C18 column (Thermo Scientific, 5µm, 4.6 X 250 mm size), column temperature 25°C (Ambient), Injection volume 2 µL, total run time 10 min, flow rate 0.5 mL/min and an isocratic mobile phase consist of 1mM Ammonium acetate Buffer pH=4 adjusted with 50% acetic acid in water as ‘A’ and acetonitrile as a solvent ‘B’ (20:80 v/v). Validation was carried out by testing parameters like LOD (limit of detection), LOQ (Limit of quantification) linearity, ruggedness, accuracy and precision in terms of reproducibility, repeatability according to ICH guidelines. The calibration range for DCV was 500 to 5000 ng/mL, where 800, 1600 & 3200 ng/mL concentrations of DCV set as an Internal QC with proper labeling. All Three QC samples applied n=6 times. For Mass spectrometry (MS) quantification of the DCV, the interest of mass m/z 740.50/514.10 was considered. The force degradation study has been carried out on LC-MS for DCV at different stress conditions. The drug was found to be stable in acidic, neutral, oxidative and photolytic but degrades in basic conditions. The proposed method is fast, economical, avoiding chemical steps and wet chemistry and thus provides a comparatively simpler, rapid green method for routine analysis in pharmaceutical industries.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129649814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We demonstrate the considerable interest in the enhancement of nonlinear effects using photonic crystals (PCs). The Nano structuring of materials allows realizing the phase matching in photonic crystals. Phase tuning is achieved using the anomalous dispersion existing at the edges of photonic forbidden bands. This type of structure also makes it possible to obtain high densities of modes of the optical field at the frequency of the excitation wave, where it is desired to obtain significant nonlinear effects. An introduction and discussion of some of the basic principles of nonlinear and photonic crystals are given. The focus is on engineered of these PCs by using some total nonlinear materials or a mix with silica. With this “marriage”, it is then possible to realize, on a microscopic scale, different passive optical functions (filters, switches, tunable) or active functions (amplification, light emission, modulation, etc.).","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123880340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The platform consists of a piezoelectric wafer with interdigitated electrode transducers embedded in it. The fabrication process involves micro-patterning the interdigitated transducers using chromium to create surface acoustic waves. The fabrication steps include surface preparation, sputtering, spin coating, lithography, and chemical etching. The paper also includes an experiment in which the fabricated device is tested. Polystyrene particles are suspended in deionized water at a concentration of one million particles per milliliter. A droplet of the solution is placed on the wafer and the response of particles to the surface acoustic wave is investigated using an inverted microscope.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"95 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113994224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Commercial software package ABAQUS was used to develop a nonlinear finite element (FE) model capable of accurately simulating the axial behavior of concrete columns reinforced with WWF. A parametric study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the effect of replacing both longitudinal & transverse reinforcement with WWF in short concrete columns with concrete compressive strength of 50 MPa. Each WWF reinforced column is compared with its equivalent conventionally reinforced column in terms of dimensions, reinforcement ratio and material properties. Results from the FE analysis revealed that replacing conventional reinforcement with WWF resulted in a slight increase in strength and appreciable enhancement of ductility without compromising stiffness. In conclusion, WWF is a sufficient form of reinforcement for short concrete columns subjected to concentric loading. WWF could potentially yield more ductility in columns with optimal reinforcement ratio (3%).","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121979766","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The formation energy of a single vacancy in penta-graphene nanoribbon is found to be 8.4 eV in the central region of the ribbons and decreases to 7.1 eV when the vacancy location is closer to the ribbon edge. Groups of drones add larger robustness, lower vulnerability, higher accuracy and flexibility with respect to the use of single drones. These groups are called swarms when designed to make collective decisions trough local mutual interactions, as real social insects swarms. Natural environments are characterized by intrinsic dynamics that are hard to predict. Since a main issue faced by swarms of drones is the absence of adaptability to changes of the environment, in this paper we proposed a principled approach that can potentially be used to develop monitoring system based on drones swarm, able to adapt to changes of the environment thanks to the presence of stubborn individuals. Furthermore, we study how the level of consensus is affected by the interplay between the proportion of stubborn individuals and the difficulty of the problem, expressed by the ratio between the qualities of the different sites.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121458577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Finite element (FE) modeling software, ABAQUS, is used to develop a nonlinear model capable of simulating the behavior of FRP reinforced beams in flexure. To validate the FE model, data extracted from ABAQUS were verified through a comparison with published experimental data. Through a parametric study, this paper aims to study the effect of varying the reinforcement ratio on the flexural behavior of BFRP reinforced beams. The reinforcement ratios studied are 0.003, 0.0047, 0.0068, and 0.0123. The paper also present comparative analysis among various FRP reinforcement bars. BFRP reinforced beam is compared with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) reinforced beams with similar reinforcement ratio. A third parametric study was conducted to evaluate the effect of varying the number of reinforcement bars while keeping the axial stiffness constant. The results showed an increasing trend of flexural capacity with the increase in reinforcement ratio. The results also indicated the much larger deflection resistance of the CFRP reinforced beams as compared to BFRP and GFRP beams. Lastly, varying the number of reinforcement bars had no effect on the strength of the beam but rather on the stiffness.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115963774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper specifically reviews the experimental studies available on the FSW and FSSW of high density polyethylene (HDPE), as it is a high demand thermoplastic material used in many industrial applications. The effect of process parameters (tool rotational speed, traverse speed, plunge depth, etc.), tool material and geometry (profile and size), and medium conditions (open-air, submerged, heat-assisted, cooling-assisted, etc.) on the weld joint mechanical properties are discussed. These studies help with narrowing the ranges of all the parameters involved, to optimize welding conditions to achieve highest joint strength. ANOVA (analysis of variance)-based studies are also discussed which help in determining the relative significance of the parameters affecting the joint strength. The thermal behavior of the weld joints, through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) studies, has also been discussed. Finally, a few recommendations for future studies are presented.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131637708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet, the sector struggles to achieve its objective of providing exemplary customer satisfaction and minimizing the operating cost. This paper explores the challenges faced by the logistics companies engaged in the last mile delivery of e-commerce parcels. Firstly, in most countries of the Middle East including UAE there is” No descriptive delivery address “available, which means no postal codes or Zip codes of the final delivery point and secondly, most of the logistics provider still operate on legacy driven semi - digitized track & trace systems for the transportation and customer relation management. This leads to the poor last-mile delivery performance of the logistics provider ultimately impacting the e-commerce brand reputation. To increase efficiency, there is a need to embrace innovative technologies and integrate the supply chain key partners. Based on the exploratory study, we suggest a conceptual framework based on integrated technologies like GPS, IoT, and TMS which will provide the delivery operator with real-time visibility, reliability, and a smart last-mile solution. The unique three technology blend will provide full digitization of the core operations, seamless co-ordination with multiple sources, data-based decision making and real-time visibility.","PeriodicalId":237887,"journal":{"name":"2020 Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences (ASET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131167132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
