Measurements were made in both as-grown crystals and crystals annealed under controlled Cd pressures. Hall effect measurements on low resistivity specimens indicate the presence of a donor level 0.014 eV below the conduction band, with concentrations typically ≈ 1016 cm-3. Analysis of the Hall mobility data indicates that the predominant scattering mechanism at room temperature and above is polar optical mode scattering. The magnetoresistance effects observed are consistent with the energy structure determined by previous optical studies. The transport properties exhibited typical characteristics of impurity band conduction at low temperatures (< 77 °K), including negative magnetoresistance. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Die elektrischen Eigenschaften von n-Typ CdSe wurden im Temperaturbereich von 4,2 bis 300 °K untersucht. Die Messungen wurden an Kristallen unmittelbar nach der Zuchtung und nach Temperung unter kontrolliertem Cd-Druck durchgefuhrt. Die Messungen des Hall-Effektes an Proben mit geringem spezifischen Widerstand zeigen das Vorhanden-sein eines Donatorniveaus 0.014 eV unterhalb des Leitfahigkeitsbandes mit typischen Konzentrationen von ≈ 1016 cm −3. Die Analyse der Hall-Bewegliehkeitswerte deutet darauf hin, das sowohl bei Raumtemperatur als auch bei hoheren Temperaturen eine Streuung durch polare optische Phononen vorherrscht. Die beobachteten Magnetowiderstandsanderungen befinden sich in ubereinstimmung mit der Energiebandstruktur, die durch fruhere optische Untersuchungen bestimmt wurde. The carrier energy is always smaller than the optical phonon energy and jumps from this value to nearly zero if the photon energy minus carrier ionizationsenergy is increased from just below to just above a multiple of the optical phonon energy. The main assumption made is that the lifetime of the carriers in this energy interval is solely determined by the relaxation time τac due to the acoustic phonons; the relaxation time with the equilibrium carriers τre and the lifetime rr of “cold” carriers being much greater. The relative depth η of the oscillations is calculated and is in good agreement with experiments on Ga-doped p-type germanium at 7 °K. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Eine theoretische Analyse wird durchgefuhrt, die die starke Abhangigkeit der Lebensdauer von der Ladungstragerenergie, die Storstellenstreuung und die sehr kurze durch optische Phononen verursachte Relaxationszeit τop der »hcisen« Photoladungstrager berucksichtigt. Merceron","doi":"10.1002/PSSB.19670240226","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1002/PSSB.19670240226","url":null,"abstract":"Orientation superstructures are examined using the magnetic diffusion after-effect, the squareness ratio R, and the induced anisotropy Ku, in the ferrites: Mn0.2Fe2.8O4.014, CuxMg1−xFe2O4 (0.09 ≦ x ≦ 0.69), Mn1+xO4 (0.1 ≦ x ≦ 0.8) and Fe1.95Ni0.95Cox× × Zn0.1−xO4 (0.02 ≦ x ≦ 0.1). In the temperature zones where disaccommodation occurs (due to the ionic or electronic diffusion), a uniaxial anisotropy can be formed with a corresponding increase of R.
