The rural agricultural populations' livelihood comes from the cultivation of ginger, which also helps with socio-economic advancement. Farmer endeavors and the expansion of the production base are encouraged by the favourable soil and climatic characteristics of some of the chosen agro-climatic zones. However, there are some limitations on ginger production and marketing, especially from the perspective of farmers. This paper attempt to analyse the contemporary scenario of ginger farming in West-Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. The study is primarily undertaken from farmer's perspective. In the process of doing the same, constraints of the ginger growers are also taken into consideration. The study is based on both primary as well as secondary data. Ginger growers were selected based on non-probabilistic convenience sampling procedure. Desired responses were obtained with the help of structured schedule. It was observed that increasing input cost primarily affect the ginger growers. There is scope for improvement in the form of value addition at the growers' level, farmers can add significant value by processing and diversifying their raw ginger supply. The study's suggestive conclusion is that ginger-based agro-entrepreneurship should be promoted. The study suggest for the development of favourable market conditions to the growers' greater advantage. Absence of well-organized markets set up also acts as impediments in the process of production and marketing of ginger.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128228298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study incorporates the examination of the effect of market index return, Treasury bill rate and systematic risk on performance. As in Sharpe's ratio, market index return is taken as dependent variables; on the other hand, Treasury bill rate and systematic risk are taken as predictor variables. Findings imply that mutual funds in Nepal have not satisfactory performance based on Sharpe's ratio. Likewise, study further exposes that market index return, systematic risk are significant and positively influences the Sharpe's ratio where as treasury bill is significant and negatively influence on the Sharpe's ratio performance of the Nepalese mutual funds. Handloom weavers adopt uncomfortable postures, which lead to poor performance and MSD. As a result, both individuals and organizations suffer economic losses. MSDs are among the main workplace hazards for ergonomists. Many handloom weavers also work in risky occupations. Weavers worked in static positions with pressure on their legs, feet, hands, and wrists. Based on this factor, we explored MSD prevalence among handloom weavers. The Self-Care Habit Assessment Questionnaire includes general care, recognizing early signs of discomfort, and evaluating the effectiveness of workouts for work-related MSD. Researchers collected data through structured interviews with 50 handloom weavers who met the inclusion criteria. Participants in the study received a guidebook on treating work-related MSD with proper explanations. Apost-knowledge examination was conducted for the same study participants fifteen days later using the same questionnaire. Researchers found that the mean score for general instructions improved from 1.76±0.32 in the pre-knowledge to 2.76±0.21 in post-knowledge, and the mean score for identifying pain and discomfort increased from 2.06±0.52 to 2.34±0.32. Besides, knowledge related to workout assessment improved from 2.02±0.36 in the pre-knowledge to 2.71±0.28 in the post-knowledge, with a statistically significant improvement of p<0.5. The written instructional guidelines with explanation enhanced better understanding and promoted self-care habits among handloom weavers performing workouts. Research shows that practicing Self-Care Training Modules for Work-Related MSD can reduce the risk of MSD among handloom weavers and attenuate physical and emotional discomfort.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128855298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emphasis is on 'green' environmentally friendly items that are critical to long-term sustainable development. India is also paying increasing attention to environmentally friendly production and consumption in support of environmental concerns and sustainable growth. One of the reasons for the emergence of green marketing is environmental issues. An IBM research shows, after the pandemic, ninety three (93%) percent of customers changed their attitudes about sustainability (Sharma, 2022). Green marketing is defined by the 'American Marketing Association (AMA) - as the promotion of items that are assumed to be ecologically friendly'. Green marketing and green product creation are effective ways for businesses to obtain a competitive advantage and generate consumer satisfaction (Yan & Yazdanifard, 2014). According to Adams (2020), awareness does not always equal green product purchases (isn't the best predictor of green product sales). Hearing about the green product or brand is insufficient to make a purchase. Familiarity is a higher standard than awareness because it measures the customer's knowledge and understanding of the green product or brand. The researchers believe that green marketing require greater study when it comes to the familiarity and other affecting factors. The study is aimed at to know about students' familiarity and perceptions of green products. Other factors such as willingness to learn more about green marketing, identifying green product features, preferred mode and source of gaining knowledge about green products, consideration of paying extra money to get such products etc. Students studying in undergraduate and post graduate levels in chosen colleges in Kolkata have been considered for this study","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134320386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Throughout the COVID-19 epidemic, a variety of psychological issues and serious mental health consequences emerged gradually. MBAstudents have been identified as a vulnerable group, with rates of anxiety, depression, drug misuse, and disordered eating that are greater than the overall population. As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, the nature of their educational experience transformed radically from an offline to an online one. Measures such as social distancing, quarantine, the closure of educational institutions, and self-isolation have a negative impact on people's psychology because they increase loneliness, distrust, and reduce social interaction. Aweakened immune system or having close relatives who are susceptible to diseases increases stress, anxiety, and frustration in the population to a life-threatening level. This research is being conducted to learn more about the psychological effects of the covid19 pandemic on MBAstudents in Mumbai, such as social isolation, insomnia, frustration, and over thinking, as well as the effects of the same pandemic's shift from offline to online learning. In both primary and secondary research, the impact of psychological discomfort caused by social isolation/distancing, as well as dissatisfaction and sadness caused by overthinking about the future, is being investigated. Our findings underscore the critical need for intervention to address college students' mental health, as well as how the pandemic impacted more than simply traditional teaching and learning.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133446287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

India, a developing middle- lower income country with a massive population of 17.7% of the total world population, ranks second from top after China. This pandemic has led almost all the people of the country to deal with economic, social and emotional costs. An attempt in this study was made to investigate impact of globalization and work culture in offices focusing on understanding the changes caused due to COVID-19 on globalization, as our Hon'ble Prime Minister appeals for ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT and work culture in offices. We find that globalization has been impacted; people made shifts towards the Indian products and services with government also putting ban on various global trades and services. Work culture in offices shifted to work from home, the best alternative for now but faced criticism too; its feasibility would completely depend on the nature of the business/industry. In order to do this, an electronic questionnaire which portrayed answers to the above stated issues was constructed and surveyed. The approach of data collection was primary sources. The financial and psychological consequences of the Covid-19 have been substantial too many people. As businesses went bankrupt, many lost their jobs, and scores of people worldwide dealt with psychological crises of redundancies, isolation, and loneliness.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130003633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The criteria used to evaluate the success of a project manager's efforts will have varying levels of significance based on the individual's position within the project. This paper set intended to discover what makes NGOs' projects in Bamenda successful. A causal research strategy was used for this investigation. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to examine the survey data collected from employees of SIRDEP and CARITAS Bamenda. The structural modelling equation found that public education and involvement positively influenced the outcomes of NGOs' projects in Bamenda. The study's author also demonstrated that the effectiveness of NGOs' projects in Bamenda was bolstered by political influence from inside the country. It was also shown that NGOs in Bamenda benefited from using a project management technique. Conversely, PPM was shown to have a detrimental impact on the project success of NGOs in Bamenda. Analyses of the data also showed that NGOs in Bamenda benefited significantly when their human resource stocks were high. In order to improve the project's chances of success, the research suggests that the project management office or committee place a greater emphasis on community awareness and engagement. The report also suggests that internal political influence be boosted to increase project efficacy and, ultimately, success. The research concludes that a more systematic approach to project management is necessary to raise the success rate of initiatives. Stressing the importance of a well-developed project management approach over the whole project life cycle is essential.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"344 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116532037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The idea of \"Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leads to Sustainability and Peace\" is still largely misunderstood and is typically portrayed in a pessimistic light as only the absence of violent conflict. The conventional wisdom holds that we can only successfully nurture and uphold peace and sustainability if we completely understand the complexity of violence, conflict, and sustainability. Since we are not taught anything about peace and sustainability at school, we tend to focus our thoughts on violent conflict and aggressive behaviour rather than on how to end these potentially disastrous behaviour patterns (Coleman, 2012). According to this point of view, a conflict management method known as precluding is implemented to cope with the destructive dynamics of disagreements after they have come into existence. Typically, this is accomplished through a series of speedy, externally-motivated fixes. Eventually, that leads to sustainability at the core of the approach. In order to address the current lack of peace and sustainability in the world, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the concept of prevention from the point of view of conflict resolution rather than conflict avoidance based on innovation and entrepreneurship. The ultimate objective is to reach the end of an agreement over the nature of the actions that need to be taken globally to preserve peace and sustainability. And avoid violence successfully for the prosperity of one and all across the globe, considering The phrase \"Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam\" means \"World is one Family\" from Maha Upanishad (Brown, B. 1922) fits the modern global corporate culture.","PeriodicalId":236859,"journal":{"name":"SMS Journal of Enterpreneurship & Innovation","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134096930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
