Betimsel araştırma desenine sahip olan bu çalışmada veriler içerik analizi yoluyla elde edilerek sayısallaştırılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmada, Leh, Macar ve Türk metotlarının ulusalcılık akımından etkilenerek, yaygın olarak kullanılan diğer metotların aksine halk müziklerine, ulusal bestecilerine, ton/ mod/makam ve ölçülerine yer vererek kültürel aktarım aracı görevi de taşıdıkları sonucuna varılmıştır. Gösteri, S. Eyüboğlu’nun Yunus Emre isimli kitabından uyarlanan 13 epizotluk metnin ışığında hikaye anlatımı, dans, şiir ve müzik dallarının iç içe geçmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Dramaturgisi, Yunus Emre’nin Tasavvuf anlayışının temelindeki sefer kavramından çıkışla yolda olma teması üzerine şekillenen gösteride bu tema diğer disiplinlerle etkileşimli bir koreografiyle ifade bulmuştur. Koreografi, Yunus Emre’nin Tasavvuf anlayışı içindeki manevi yolculuğunu ifade etmek üzere öne çıkan temaların eşzamanlı olarak hem bedenlere hem de mekana yansıtılmasıyla tasarlanmıştır. Temaların oyuncular tarafından içselleştirilmesi, geliştirilmesi ve uygulanmasını sağlamak amacıyla temel olarak Doğaçlama, Skinner Releasing Tekniği ve Laban Hareket Analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak metnin anlatım düzleminde örtük bir motif olarak yer alan yolda olma temasının, koreografi aşamasında etkin bir algısal deneyime dönüştüğü gözlemlenmiştir. Bu makale, metnin ana temasını ortaya çıkarma sürecinde koreografiyi oluşturan ögeleri ilgili literatür taramalarıyla inceleyerek alanda çalışanlara bir yol haritası sunmak üzere yazılmıştır. This material rich in heavy metals such as iron, upon ingestion has the potential to effect physical, radiological, chemical, mechanical, and structural changes in biological systems. In this work, we analyzed the effects of slag ingestion through diet, on several quantitative and qualitative parameters of the tibio-tarsal bones in pigeons (Columbia Livia Domestica). The specimens were maintained on a seed diet and divided into a control group (n = 9) provided (normal) clean limestone grit, and an experimental group (n = 9) provided slag-based grit, both for a period of one year. Their tibio-tarsal bones were harvested for analysis. Quantitative analytical methods included conventional density measurements, caliper-based cortical thickness measurements, bone mineral density measurements using Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA), calcium and iron concentration measurements using mass spectrometry, and the determination of Young’s Moduli and ultimate breaking strength (both in compression) using a universal testing machine (UTM). Qualitative microscopy studies, both optical and electron including energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) were carried out for both sample groups. A Welch’s t-test (single tail) was used to compare means of the seven quantitative parameters between control and experimental samples; in six of these parameters, a statistically significant difference was found (p ≤ 0.05). Microscopy, both optical and electron coupled with EDS analysis revealed structural differences in bone between the two groups. Engineering hardness testing of grit types in the dietary components revealed that the slag ingested by the experimental group was approximately twice as hard (Brinell and Rockwell hardness) as the limestone grit in the control group diet. We conclude that slag ingestion through diet in the species examined, is associated with measurable changes in mechanical, chemical, structural, and radiological properties of the tibio-tarsal bones.","PeriodicalId":23576,"journal":{"name":"Volume 5, Issue 2","volume":"40 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86304158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fossil fuels are limited, and they are considered as non-renewable source of energy. Crude oil reserves are consumed at large scale with respective passing year. If the consumption rate is increased, it may cause ruination and irreplaceable damage to the environment. It now poses a great threat to mankind and to our planet earth. Renewable source of energy is revolutionary in this modern era. Biofuels are one of the most promising alternatives to conventional sources of fuel. Biodiesel is an eco-friendly, non-toxic green fuel that reduces the use of fossil fuel and helps combat climate change. Biodiesel can be produced through transesterification of waste animal fats into fatty acid methyl esters. India is the second largest producer of goat-based meat in the world. Currently, there is so much of waste fat being generated from meat processing plants and dumped in open grounds. It is hazardous waste and causes environmental pollution. The process of converting waste fat to biodiesel will reduce the dumping of waste fat. It can act as a major technique in fighting menace of pollution and helps in better waste management.","PeriodicalId":23576,"journal":{"name":"Volume 5, Issue 2","volume":"43 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87765810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UVvisible spectroscopy and AFM. The XRD results indicate that the ZnO crystal has a hexagonal wurtzite structure. The optical properties of the samples are investigated by measuring the UV-VIS absorption at room temperature. Herein, we aimed to describe the rapid green synthesis of selenium doped zinc oxide nanoparticles by using aqueous leaf extract of Mangifera indica to overcome the chemical synthesis. The reduction of precursors used for nanoparticles is activated by natural reducing agents present in plant extract which eliminates the neurotoxic reducing agents present in chemicals. The nanoparticles were assessed for their stability by varying parameters like pH, temperature, time and concentration. The highly stable nanoparticles were characterized using UV–visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy with EDAX.
