Still, during the Joseon Dynasty, it functioned as a significant island in the West Sea and was valued. Many historical records have been handed down, and the place's name remains so that you can guess the status of the past. Accordingly, this article examined records of historical characteristics and scenic spots based on the literature data of Yongyudo Island and shed light on the appearance of Yongyudo Island in the past. Yongyudo Island has been inhabited since the Goryeo Dynasty and was recognized as a significant island for the country. In particular, it is possible to move by land at low tide, so you can see the situation of sharing the history with the islands around Yeongjongdo Island. In the early Joseon Dynasty, a state-run ranch was established on Yongyudo Island. It can be seen that the Dun(屯) was installed on Yeongjongdo Island in the late Joseon Dynasty, and its function was increased, and it was referred to as Maseong(馬城) at the end of the Joseon Dynasty. Meanwhile, various records to look around Yongyudo Island are also confirmed. The people made salt their main business, and records of the natural environment are also confirmed. It helps to understand the appearance of the West Sea islands in the past. \u0000Yongyudo Island attracted attention for its unique scenery among various islands in the West Sea. It can be seen that Yongyudo Island was recorded as a representative island in a poem written in the West Sea area in the late Joseon Dynasty. Kim Jong-su(金鍾秀), Lee Yun-yeong(李胤永), and others went on a tour of Yongyudo Island in the 18th century. When They reached Yongyudo Island, they were fascinated by the scenery when they saw Yeogiam(女妓巖). Still, they failed to land due to heavy rain and returned to Wolmido Island(月尾島) to decorate the cultural history of the West Sea tour that will go down in history. Meanwhile, Choi Hyeon-gu(崔鉉九) sang the beauty of 「The Eight Scenic Views of Yongyudo(龍游島八景)」 as a poem. Today, it is the predecessor of the Eight Scenic Views of Yongyu and is an essential material for understanding the beautiful scenery of Yongyudo Island in the past.

People with improved levels of financial well-being can be more free from mental and psychological distress arising from personal financial problems and maintain a more secure life. This study uses survey data collected by the Korea Financial Consumer Protection Foundation to measure financial well-being of residents of Incheon, the first-phase, and the second-phase New Towns in Gyeonggi-do, and to examine their characteristics and differences. While the financial well-being level is the highest in the second-phase New Town area, that of Incheon is low. In particular, the financial well-being score of Incheon residents is not only lower than the national average, but falls short of half of the maximum possible score of 100. The share of people suffering severe financial stress ranges from 5% to 8%, depending on the region, and that of people with financial insecurity ranges from 38% to 49%. Gender, age, and education are largely unrelated to financial well-being scores, but respondents aged 55 to 64 score significantly lower than other age groups, indicating that the elderly are exposed to financial pains. Regression analysis shows that factors such as positive thinking, residential satisfaction, restful personality, and financial attitudes are significant factors influencing the financial well-being score. In order to more accurately understand regional financial well-being, it is recommended to identify Korea-specific elements that reflect financial markets as well as economic and cultural characteristics, and to regularly collect data through large-scale surveys, hopefully at the government level.

In the very early period of the dynasty, Gyeong-gi showed some aspects of keeping up with the achievements of the residents of the capital, Hanseong, to a certain extent. However, Gyeong-gi underwent significant changes during the two wars[兩亂] followed by the long process of restoration. Until the late 18th century, the custom of this region were quite different from the custom of the southern part of Joseon, Gyeongsang, and Jeolla. The latter two areas were successfully establishing harmonious customs based on their pure-minded nature unlike Gyeong-gi. Even until the late 19th century, some places in Gyeong-gi couldn’t possess noble customs. This unexpected situation was explained by several reasons. Some tried to explain it with the edifying discourse which says learning is possible when only economic conditions are favorable. Some pointed out the heavy roles played by the people in Gyeonggi, the ethos of pursuing commercial interests, and the frequent movement in this area. In the mid-19th century, a new discourse emerged in Gyeong-gi and its surrounding areas, which stressed material profit as a measure to bring people together. On the other hand, there was also a growing tendency of giving up making a noble custom.

Since Japan occupied the Korean Empire in 1910, the spread of modern publishing media has been mainly carried out by Japanese forces. In addition to the newspapers of Gyeongseong published by the Japanese, Japanese newspapers were distributed nationwide in each region of the country. Magazines, a modern publishing medium, were also spread by the Japanese. After the March 1st Independence Movement in 1919, as the Japanese switched to cultural rule, the publication of newspapers, magazines, and books by Koreans increased rapidly. As a result, publications published by Koreans were distributed and distributed through various publishing infrastructures in each region of the country. In addition, in case of reorganizing not only houses but also landscaping elements, it was found and presented in literature so that the trees he loved at the time of the founding could be restored. It was assumed that there would rise conflicts because Joseon vowed vengeance for the loss to Qing. Moreover, it was thought that Qing couldn't last long since they consisted of barbarians and that there was a high chance to occur a war again when they should try to return to their home. Whether it was triggered by Joseon or Qing, the concern that it was possible to occur another clash between the two didn't fade in late Joseon. This thought made Namhansanseong seem to be an important defense base of the capital area in case of emergencies. \u0000In late Joseon, Namhansanseong meant the memories of war that both royals and people underwent together, the devotion of whom gave their lives for their country and king and the worries of the king and his subjects. Therefore, the royal court was much interested in the maintenance and extension of Namhansanseong. They kept track of how to fix and maintain the place, military recruitment and arrangement for protection and the storage and management of rations. \u0000For Namhansanseong was supposed to be the main base for the potential war, the repair of walls and the development of the defense system were constantly performed. Also, the system of gathering and managing people from nearby towns including Gwangju and the residing monks in the fortress was regularly organized. Additionally, storing rations was another important role of Namhansanseong. Its system was emphasized to be the general law for construction and personnel management of Bukhansanseong and Suwon Hwaseong. \u0000After mid-18th century, as Qing's policies settled down and the probabilities of war decreased, the role of Namhansanseong changed. With the increasing interest of the operation of stored rations, Namhansanseong was counted as a supplement of the national finance instead of a military base. The rations in Namhansanseong were distributed to and collected from Gwangju and nearby regions as Hwangok. But, due to poor harvest and corruption, it was difficult to maintain the standard quantity. Nevertheless, the actual amount wasn't low, so that the court members personally used it as a spare resource when needed. In the end, such uses increased so much to fabricate its existence in 19th century. During Sedojeongchi period, it was impossible to properly keep the rations in the fortress because of the three administrations' disorders. \u0000In the study, the contents of articles related to Namhansanseong from the official records in late Joseon are briefly categorized. Written in chronological order, it is possible to refer the records to understand how the status of Namhansanseong and its policy changed as time passed. In the late Joseon Dynasty, Nam Yong-ik(1628-1692), who held the position of I-jo-pan-seo(吏曹判 書), managed several villas here and interacted with his colleagues. Su-rak-mountain(水落山) Ok-ryu Waterfall(玉流瀑布) and the Gan-pok-jeong(看瀑 亭) built next to it became a kind of marker symbolizing Ui-ryeong-Nam clan and Nam Yong-ik. \u0000The reason why the Ui-ryeong-Nam clan of Ui-ryeong(宜寧), Gyeong-sang-nam-do, formed a settlement and seon-yeong(先塋) in Dogok was that Nam-jae(南在, 1351-1419) and Nam-eun(南誾, 1354-1398) were granted sa-pae-ji(賜牌地) and Large farmland(田莊) in the early Joseon Dynasty. Then, starting with Nam Hyo-ui(南孝義, 1474-1551), its character as a clan village(集姓村) became clear, and in the late Joseon Dynasty, Nam Yong-ik, who was at the beginning of the No-ron(老論) Gyeong-hwa-se-gok(京華世族), traveled back and forth between Seoul and his hometown. \u0000Nam Yong-ik traveled back and forth between Seoul and his hometown, seeking refuge in his hometown whenever he was in political hot water. After the age of 50, when he actively advocated for seclusion, he concentrated on building a separate houses, assuming that he could return to Seoul. The real guardians of the land were his Bang-gye(傍系) descendants, who farmed, lived, and maintained their daily lives there. \u0000It is believed that life in Se-geo-gi(世居地) was similar until the 80s, when rural villages centered on the same sect were maintained. Throughout the Japanese occupation, the Korean War, and modernization, clan village(集姓村) remained culturally unchanged until the 90s, when a turning point occurred. At the core of the transition was a change in the form of housing: apartments. As a large number of anonymous people quickly moved in, taking up space on the ground and in the air, the neighborhood's character as a village community was quickly eroded. \u0000When the village community collapsed, so did the tradition of nickname of house (宅號), which lasted until the 80s. Now, those who remain live in an era of communal housing, where people call each other □dong □ho. This article, which aims to be a study of spatiality, concludes by record the nickname of house, which few people will remember. This could be a meaningful task if we reflect on the disappearance of urban and suburban clan village over the course of modern history.

Meanwhile, Incheon was urbanized as a port city that served as the entrance to Seoul after the opening of the port, but its image as a tourist city has also been established since the 1920s. The purpose of this study was to first review tourist guidebooks to examine tourist attractions in Incheon created and recommended by tourism suppliers in Japanese colonial era, and second, to analyze travel writings to examine how Japanese, who were the main tourists of Incheon at the time, toured Incheon's tourist attractions. In this analysis, we attempted to capture changes over time. As a result, Most of the tourist attractions in Incheon recommended by tourism suppliers were created after Japanese colonial era, and most of them recommended by suppliers of tourism were mostly places justifying the Japanese rule and showing the superiority of imperial Japan. Japanese who visited Incheon did not deviate much from the tourist attractions and tour schedules proposed to tourism suppliers. Therefore, it can be evaluated that Incheon's tourism in a Japanese colonial era has properly realized the intention of the tourism supplier.

The wide range of daily/annual temperatures, glaciers and permafrost means that freeze-thaw processes are very active in almost all areas, and forest/steppe landscapes develop. It is an arid environment with low precipitation, but subtropical air masses in summer can cause seasonal flooding and inundation. These features make Mongolia a region with a very different character from region to region. Zuunkharaa is characterised by relatively low temperatures/evaporation and permafrost, leading to the development of periglacial features such as ice lenses, ice wedges and hummocks, while Lun, a tributary lowland formed by summer flooding, dries up and takes on the characteristics of a deflation lake. In the Karakorum, at the junction of mountains and plains, extensive alluvium is deposited in the form of alluvial fans. In Bayanzag, strong evaporation causes solonchacks to form, but active freeze-thaw processes and winds produce a hardened surface similar to desert pavements. Mongolia's landforms and soils are the result of a combination of strong freeze-thaw processes/evaporation, surface water and wind erosion, seasonal precipitation and flooding, and the influence of permafrost.

Accordingly, Chapter 2 attempted to determine the location of Yangpyong while also verifying the surrounding places through literature data. This is meaningful in that it is a basic work to reveal the place of a new place through mutual negotiations between geography and literature. \u0000Next, in Chapter 3, the meaning of the space around Yangpyong Yongmunsan was sequentially confirmed. First, the beauty of the place, Yongmunsan travel, and the description of Seunggyeong were captured. Accordingly, it was found that the poems written by writers in Yongmunsan contained the beauty of the arithmetic space itself and the excellence of the surrounding landscape. This is meaningful in that it is the most superficial and most essential process in the process of recognizing the space called Yongmunsan. \u0000Second, we looked at the reproduction of the meaning of Ungyeseowon(雲溪書院), Sesimjung(洗心亭), and Hermit places. Here, a new space called Ungyeseowon Confucian Academy and Sesimjung, located around Yongmunsan, was found. In addition, it was revealed that these places are related to the Yongmun(龍門) Jowook(趙昱) and that their meaning as Hermit places has been reproduced until later generations. \u0000Third, Lee Ho-min(李好閔), Lee Gyung-eom(李景嚴)'s father and son Byeolseo(別墅), Sacheonjang(斜川庄), and Sacheonpalgyong(斜川八景) were examined.
