This is one of the ways to control the speeding of public cars. The systems are often installed at hidden areas. In real situation, the image of over-speeding vehicle is captured by a high speed camera. In this study, a mobile phone equipped with a camera is used to capture the plate number and the image is sent by the mobile phone to the modem. The aim of this study is to develop a system that can be used by the public to capture over-speeding vehicles or offender images and send to the modem which is connected to the computer that acts like the main control office. The received image is analyzed to extract the plate numbers into individual character using image processing technique.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"6 8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133041447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Asymmetric cross-shaped slot are embedded in the middle of the square patch for CP radiation and four hexagonal slots are etched on the four sides of the square patch for desired dual frequency. The proposed antenna is excited by a single probe fed in the second quadrant of the patch. The simulated results show that the impedance bandwidth is approximately 40 MHz (2.17 GHz to 2.21 GHz) for lower band and 70 MHz (3.25 GHz to 3.32 GHz) for higher band and average peak gain 6.13 dBiC and 5.45 dBiC, respectively. In addition, the antenna shows good radiation pattern performance with relatively stable gains over the operating band, which is very attractive for satellite applications. The overall dimension of the antenna is 0.305λ × 0.305λ × 0.012 λ.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123466964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The OFDM transmitter generates the orthogonal signals, and the OFDM receiver detects the signals. The idea of low complexity is the arrangement and the multistage calculations of coefficients. It was shown that the number of multiplier and adder was reduced. Hardware model presented is scalable to higher speed, allowing possible implementation in electronic processors for advanced communication systems.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"136 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122552001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the performance of the inbound handover signaling load on the control plane in EPC network with deployed home eNB (HeNB) has been analyzed and compared in this paper. According to the analysis results for the number of signaling messages, when comparing S1 and X2 inbound hand over, it is shown that the 70% and 108% of signaling messages are needed more over S1 handover in an overall procedure of the intra-MME/intra-SGW and intra-MME/inter-SGW handover respectively. With respect to handover signaling messages affecting EPC only, we also found that the 183% and 213% of signaling messages are needed more over S1 handover in the same case respectively. Furthermore, looking at the impacts of EPC signaling load, we obtained a signaling load of about 87% for the S1 handover and about 13% for the X2 handover in the simulation. Hence, we can conclude that a inbound hand over procedure affects EPC more severely than the other network nodes. EPC signaling load can be reduced by X2 handover more than six times when comparing to S1 handover scenarios.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126676277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As more services are available, a more effective Web service selection mechanism is essential. How to compose multiple services into workflows to accomplish a task has become an important research topic. But the current solutions to selecting services for composition are either too complex or too specialized. In this paper we devise a mechanism that can select services more suitable for composition. We first filter out those services which do not meet the preset criteria using the semantic information that has been entered when the service is registered. Each remaining service is then treated as a node in a graph. The problem of selecting services becomes a problem of route planning. In our approach, the route is built by taking the correlation factor into consideration. We then compare the proposed method against the ones without correlation. The experiments show that the proposed selection method based on correlation has its advantage.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115939699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysis of malicious software, search for vulnerabilities, and source-code recovery are some of the most important uses. As there exists a diversity of different platforms on which software can be run, an existence of a generic decompiler would be highly appreciated. The present paper describes such a tool. In this paper, we provide a description of a retargetable decompiler that is being developed within the Lissom project. First, we give an introduction into the area of machine-code decompilation, including a brief discussion of existing tools. Then, we describe the concept and architecture of the decompiler. As it is available in the form of a web service, we also provide its description. Finally, we summarize our results, present a case study of using the tool for analysing malicious software, and conclude the paper by several remarks on future research.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"176 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127392390","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Routing is one of the most challenging issues in MANETs. The main aim of the routing protocol is to have an efficient route establishment between a pair of nodes, so that messages can be delivered in a timely manner. There are many protocols that have been developed to aid in routing in these types of networks. This paper focuses on single path and multipath reactive routing protocols. In case of single path routing protocol there will be only one path form source to destination in contrast Multipath routing protocols discover multiple paths between the source and destination in every route discovery. In this paper we have compared the performance of routing protocols for MANETs to employ the genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithm mechanism allows a node to change routing information quickly and efficiently to adjust an ever changing local topology, initiating fewer link breakages. We have used NS-2 simulator to simulate routing protocols and conclude with performance evaluation and comparison are performed through extensive simulation studies.","PeriodicalId":235292,"journal":{"name":"2013 Third World Congress on Information and Communication Technologies (WICT 2013)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125332048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
