The presence of Au significantly enhances the light absorption and reduces the recombination rate of electron-hole pairs leading to improve the H2 evolution efficiency. The highly improved efficiency is also due to the efficient transfer of photoelectrons between the g-C3N4and Au molecules. The report indicates that the chemical reduction method to deposit gold nanoparticles on g-C3N4is an appropriate method with significant photocatalytic efficiency. The metal ratio in bimetallic nanoparticles can be easily tuned by controlling the metal precursor ratio. Using Rhodamine as a probe molecule, we investigated the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity of synthesized bimetallic Au-Ag nanoparticles. The results demonstrate that our materials allow to enhance about 2×106 times the Raman signal of Rhodamine. Modified infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods were used to investigate the characteristics of the paint film. In this work, graphene-based sponge was facilely fabricated by simply immersing melamine sponge into well-dispersed graphene nanoplaletes solution. The prepared graphene sponge revealed superhydrophobic and oleophillic properties in nature. The graphene-based sponge showed remarkable adsorption performance toward oils and organic solvents with the adsorption capacity ranging from 40 to 70 folds of sponge’s weight. Using ionic liquid for rhodium-supported catalyst facilitates this reaction. In this work, TiO2 support was first time used. From the FT-IR, EPR, and surface area analysis, the components of supported ionic liquid phase can be seen after the impregnation of ionic liquid into the support’s porous structure. The main product for the ethylene conversion is propan-2-ol, as a subsequent hydrogenation product after hydroformylation. The results showed that the conversion rate in the SrTiO3 sample was high (about 35%) at 850 oC, and the product C2H4 with an yield of 0.12%. Several modern analytical methods such as XRD, BET, TPx, SEM have been characterized. The XRD results showed a stable phase structure and high crystallinity with both samples. NH3-TPD recorded weak acid centers on SrTiO3, leading to coke formation on the impact surface. H2-TPR and O2-TPD express the redox of CuO-ZnO, resulting in a deep oxidation product of CO2. The PL spectra indicate that the introduction of WO3 to AgI can efficiently suppress the recombination of photo-generated charge carrier. The photocatalytic activity of WO3/AgI was investigated under visible light by using the Amoxicillin (AMX) antibiotic as an organic target in aqueous solution. The WO3/AgI photoactivity for AXM was greatly enhanced when both materials were coupled to form a Z-scheme system. The highest degradation percentage was reached using the WO3/AgI material ratio mole of 1/1. The prepared catalyst was characterized by using scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The photocatalytic performance of material was evaluated by the photoredution of degradation of Amoxicillin (AMX) antibiotic under visible light. Results show that the obtained WO3/Ag3VO4photocatalyst can significantly enhance photocatalytic activity in comparison with the pure WO3 and Ag3VO4.
