{"title":"Trend analizi ve yapay sinir ağları: Tarımda bir uygulaması","authors":"Şenol Çelik, Nilay Köleoğlu","doi":"10.26809/joa.7.1.03","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26809/joa.7.1.03","url":null,"abstract":"Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de yıllara göre korunga üretim miktarının modelinin kurulması ve öngörü yapılmasında yapay sinir ağları (YSA) ve trend analizi kullanılarak üretim planı yapılabileceğini göstermektir.\u0000\u0000Çalışma, 1990-2020 dönemine ait verileri kapsamaktadır. YSA ve trend analizi geliştirilmesinde girdi parametresi olarak yıllar parametresi, çıkış parametresi olarak üretim miktarı kullanılmıştır. Trend analizinde doğrusal, karesel ve kübik modeller kullanılmıştır. YSA yönteminde aktivasyon fonksiyonu olarak Hiperbolik Tanjant Fonksiyonu kullanılmıştır.\u0000\u0000Geliştirilen modelin etkinliği Hata Kareler Ortalaması (MSE) ve determinasyon katsayısı (R2) gibi istatistiksel parametreler kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Trend analizi ve YSA karşılaştırıldığında, en küçük hata kareler ortalaması (HKO) değerini veren YSA yöntemi daha iyi sonuçlar vermiştir. YSA’na göre öngörü yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar korunga üretiminin 2025 yılında 2020 yılına oranla bir düşüşte olacağını öngörmektedir. 2020 yılında 1 934 697 ton olan korunga üretiminin 2025 yılında %3.83’lük bir düşüşle 1 860 691 ton olacağı beklenmektedir.\u0000\u0000YSA, değişkenlerde meydana gelebilecek herhangi bir değişim karşısında ortaya çıkabilecek sonuçların tespitinin sağlanmasında ve bu yolla süreçlerin iyileştirilmesinde faydalı bir araçtır. Özellikle 2011’de başlayan Suriye iç savaşı neticesinde milyonlarca insan farklı ülkelere göç etmek zorunda kalmıştır. Avrupa Birliği (AB) üyeleri göçün hedefinde olan ülkelerdir. AB’ne üye olan ülkelerde, Birlik sınırlarına üçüncü ülkelerden gelen mültecilere uygulanacak prosedürler Dublin Sözleşmesi'yle belirlenmiştir. Dublin Sözleşmesine göre mültecilerin sığınma başvurularını AB topraklarına girdiği ülkede yapması gerekmektedir. İtalya, Afrika topraklarına sınır olarak en yakın AB üyesidir. Dolayısıyla, her yıl yüzlerce kişi, kaçak yollardan İtalya kıyılarına ulaşmaya çalışmaktadır. Sadece son iki yılda Akdeniz’de yasa dışı göç yüzünden hayatını kaybedenlerin sayısı sekiz bin civarındadır. Dolayısıyla İtalya sınırlarını korumak adına tedbirler almaktadır.\u0000\u0000Alınan tedbirlerin, ülkedeki ırkçı saldırıların artışına neden olması tartışılan konular arasındadır. Son bir yılda ırk temelli şiddet vakalarının üç katına çıktığı, İtalyan basınında yer almaktadır. Suriye krizi sonrasında, yaklaşık beşyüz bin kişi İtalya’ya gelmiştir. Yetersiz kabul politikaları ile zor şartlar altında yaşama tutunmaya çalışan Suriyeliler aynı zamanda gittikçe artan ırkçı saldırılara maruz kalmaktadırlar.\u0000\u0000Bu çalışma ile İtalya’nın Suriye Krizi sonrasında mültecilerle yaşadığı sorunlar, aldığı tedbirler ve son yıllarda artan ırkçılık boyutu açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, ‘cinsel taciz’ fenomen olarak ele alınıp, özel tiyatrolarda çalışan profesyonel oyuncuların deneyim ve görüşlerinin tümevarımsal bir yaklaşımla değerlendirildiği nitel bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırma deseni olarak fenomenoloji, veri toplama aracı olarak ise doküman inceleme ve derinlemesine görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Derinlemesine görüşmeler, dört araştırmacı tarafından, en az beş yıllık geçmişi olan özel tiyatrolarda çalışan 13 kadın ve 14 erkekten oluşan toplam 27 oyuncu ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu deneyimlerin farklılıkları ve ortaklıkları üzerinden, Türkiye’de oyuncuların cinsel tacize maruz kaldıklarında yasadışı olan bu durumu nasıl görünür kıldıklarını, bireysel ya da kurumsal yollarla nasıl bir raporlama süreci izlediklerini veya hangi kanallarla bu durumu çözmeye veya sonlandırmaya çalıştıkları açıklanmıştır. Yanı sıra, oyuncuların cinsel tacizin gerçekleşmemesi için ne tür önleme davranış ve stratejileri geliştirdiğini gösterilmiştir. İzleme stratejisi olarak ise oyuncuların takip ettikleri süreçler ve sonuçları ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada oyuncular ülkemizde cinsel tacizin görünmez olmasını bireysel, kurumsal ve kültürel olmak üzere üç nedene dayandırırken, cinsel tacizi önlemeye yönelik sekiz farklı strateji kullandıkları saptanmıştır. Cinsel tacizi izlemeye yönelik stratejiler ise cinsel taciz yaşantısını tanımlama ve bildirme ile bildirim sonrası olmak üzere üç başlık altında ele alınmıştır. {"title":"Jacqueline du Pré as 'The Cellist' (2020)","authors":"Adam Whittaker","doi":"10.16995/olh.4700","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.16995/olh.4700","url":null,"abstract":"Few musicians of the twentieth century are as recognisable as Jacqueline du Pré. Her dazzling and distinctive talent, said to have enraptured audiences the world over, was overcome by a tragic diagnosis of MS. This sense of tragedy was all the more heightened by Du Pré’s famed physicality on the stage, leading critics to use all manner of analogies in describing her playing as a physical (and even sexual) experience. Her status as a musical celebrity, further intensified as she became one half of a classical music power couple, has led to numerous dramatic retellings and reimaginings of her biography, played out in film and TV, and now on stage. \u0000\u0000The most recent example of this fascination with Du Pré is the ballet The Cellist, Cathy Marston’s new work for the Royal Ballet, premiered in February 2020 to much critical acclaim. Its score, composed by Philip Feeney, features a cello soloist and interweaved repertoire extracts that have become so associated with Du Pré. Along with the characters of Barenboim, Du Pré, and her family, her 1673 Stradivarius cello is given a starring role in the form of Marcelino Sambé, a new take that makes this a distinctive contribution to media representations of Du Pré. This article examines the interactions across this complex web of musical representations of musical personae engrained in the cultural consciousness. {"title":"Art Music, Perfection and Power: Critical Dialogues with Classical Music Culture in Contemporary Cinema","authors":"Tobias Pontara","doi":"10.16995/OLH.4675","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.16995/OLH.4675","url":null,"abstract":"During the last three decades music scholars have provided a growing amount of critical accounts of what they contend is a fundamental conceptual support behind the performance of classical music, namely the belief in aesthetically autonomous and endurable musical works free-standing from any cultural and social context. According to this ontology, the primary obligation of the performer is to present and interpret the musical work, a performance ideal that has been claimed to foster a musical culture obsessed with perfectionism and permeated by problematic relations of power. {"title":"Racial Dynamics: The Casting of Lucian Msamati as Salieri in the National Theatre’s 2016 Production of Amadeus","authors":"A. Curtin","doi":"10.16995/OLH.4697","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.16995/OLH.4697","url":null,"abstract":"This article examines the casting of Lucian Msamati as Antonio Salieri in the 2016 production of Peter Shaffer’s 1979 play Amadeus by the National Theatre in London. This was the first time an actor of colour had played the role of Salieri in a professional production of Shaffer’s drama. How did the casting affect interpretation of the play? And what was its cultural significance in the context of current debates about demographic representation in classical music and efforts to diversify the art form and its practitioners? In order to answer these questions this article examines statements made by the production team, theories of casting, and documented responses to Msamati in this role, including professional reviews and comments made online. The article reveals a complicated picture with regard to the efficacy of this casting choice, highlighting limitations and missed opportunities for deeper engagement with the history and politics of race in classical music whilst acknowledging the positive aspects of the casting and its potential for beneficial social impact. {"title":"The Present as Past: Science Fiction and the Museum","authors":"Amy Butt","doi":"10.16995/OLH.634","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.16995/OLH.634","url":null,"abstract":"This article explores the role that science fiction (sf) texts might play in the museum, offering a perspective on acts of collection, curation, exhibition, and museum architecture, to ask what the museums of science fiction futures can offer those of us concerned with the role and responsibility of the museum in the present.It draws together methods, content and reflections from a workshop held at the Horniman Museum with art and curation students from University of the Arts London in 2019, which explored the spaces and imaginaries of the museum. Over the course of this workshop, participants were asked to restage the museums described in three science fiction novels: H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine (1895), Yevgeny Zamyatin’s We (1924), and Sally Miller Gearhart’s The Wanderground: Stories of the Hill Women (1979). By bringing the spaces of science fiction into the museum, these interventions reframed the terms of our engagement with museum objects and provided a site for broader reflection on the nature of museum design and practice.This process of imaginative construction is extended into this paper, which crosses the fields of architectural design and theory, science fiction and utopian studies, and museum studies. It draws directly upon the interventions generated in the workshop, including photographs and descriptions which reflect on the critical potential present in multiple forms of knowing and the radical possibility inherent in collective acts of remaking. {"title":"Fraud Risk Factors that Affect the Audit Program Plan: The Case of Kurdistan Region, Iraq","authors":"Samer H. The perceptions of both international and local external auditors in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, were investigated. In general, it was found that the respondents were more interested in assessing fraud risk factors related to misappropriation of assets (84.61%) compared with those related to fraudulent financial reporting (75.43%). Stepwise regression analysis indicates a positive and significant effect of each fraud risk factor related to fraudulent financial reporting that resulted from incentives or pressures and attitudes or rationalization, and the fraud risk factors related to the misappropriation of assets that resulted from attitudes or rationalization on the nature, timing, and extent of the planned audit procedures. However, other fraud risk factors in the study model did not show a significant effect on the audit program plan.
