Research disclosed a few attributes with a dimensional review of lean and agile strategies that enhance strategic alignment in the food service industry of UAE to achieve the maximum benefits that have never been identified in research before. Data from 85 Sharjah-based food service companies were used for the analysis. A quantitative method with descriptive, causal and exploratory research design was used, along with convenient cluster sampling. A valid sample size of 255 respondents was used to assess the model through regression and ANOVA using SPSS. Research findings show a significant direct impact of lean strategies on order winners, and agile strategies significantly positively impact order winners. In contrast, both variables have a significant direct impact on order winners. This research is limited to assessing the impact of lean and agile strategies to achieve maximum order winners. Future research should consider a manufacturing industry to increase generalizability and a comprehensive focus on the lean and agile dimensional impact on competitive advantage. Customer loyalty and satisfaction lead a business toward order winners. An exemplary implementation of lean and agile strategies can translate into high business performance.","PeriodicalId":23429,"journal":{"name":"Uncertain Supply Chain Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70903291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using data for 97 companies in the industrial and service sectors in the Jordanian context, for the period between 2017 and 2021. The results of this study showed that the independence of ACs has an important and negative impact on reducing the delay in issuing financial reporting (FR). However, the study did not find the importance of the rest of the characteristics related to ACs to reduce the delay in issuing audit reports between Jordanian companies. The study concluded that the mechanisms of corporate governance in Jordanian companies are not effective, compared to the more developed countries. Thus, policy makers are supposed to enforce governance practices in Jordanian companies in substance, rather than simply adhering to practices in form.","PeriodicalId":23429,"journal":{"name":"Uncertain Supply Chain Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70911491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Companies must be able to maintain operational efficiency and stability while also innovating and adapting to market dynamics. Ambidexterity enables companies to manage operations and strategy effectively and efficiently while at the same time, facilitating innovation and adaptation to market changes. This leads to an increase in company performance, such as increased revenue, increased market, and increased operating efficiency. It is also necessary that there are several mediating variables, such as effective supply chain collaboration, supply chain management, and innovation capability, which influence the relationship between supply chain ambidexterity and firm performance. This study aims to determine the extent to which ambidexterity can influence supply chain performance and how the role of lean and agile supply chains mediates the relationship between these variables. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The number of samples analyzed in this study was 225. The results of the study concluded that ambidexterity helps companies to overcome pressure to optimize short- and long-term performance, maintain agility and flexibility in adapting to changes in the business environment. Studies on ambidexterity and supply chain performance have shown that ambidexterity can help directly optimize supply chain performance but can also amplify the positive impact of practices such as lean supply chain and agile supply chain. The implications obtained from the findings are that companies are expected to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness and have the ability to adapt to environmental changes and market demands.","PeriodicalId":23429,"journal":{"name":"Uncertain Supply Chain Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70911794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data received from a sample of Saudi manufacturing enterprises were analyzed using a structural equation modelling technique. According to the findings, customer relationships, the level of information sharing, and strategic supplier partnerships all have strong beneficial impacts on competitive advantage. However, the influence of information sharing quality alone on competitive advantage was shown to be statistically negligible. These results emphasize the necessity of developing strong customer relationships, encouraging effective information exchange procedures, and creating strategic collaborations with suppliers to gain a competitive edge. The research adds to the current literature by providing insights unique to Saudi Arabian industrial firms. The results are important for managers and decision-makers developing competitive supply chain management strategies. Future studies may investigate other factors and dimensions, as well as perform longitudinal studies, to better understand the structures of supply chain management and competitive advantage in the Saudi context.","PeriodicalId":23429,"journal":{"name":"Uncertain Supply Chain Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70916008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
