This review paper is concerned with the effect of temperature in the FSW process and heat generation by the high speed of rotation on the FSW apparatus. The other parameter has also studied to show the effect on FSW tool in stir welding process. In this work different research papers and their work are presented. The variety of work on stir welding process is discussed by hypothetical analysis on past performance.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115660503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, this paper is on stabilisation of locally available red soil using a waste product i.e. the shredded tyre chips. CBR test followed by the compaction test is conducted to study the fundamental physical properties of soil–rubber interaction. The waste tyres were added in different proportion of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight and are mixed with the soil and various tests were done. It was found that with the addition of15% shredder tyre chips the CBR value increases from 4.66 to 7.03 inunsoaked condition and 2.7959 to 4.2889 in soaked condition. This shows that shredded tyres chips are capable of increasing the strength of the soil and hence can be used for soil stabilisation.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116343881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For such requirement curved diffusers are being used. Five S shaped diffusers of turning angle 120 o were fabricated. The area ratio was 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5. The pressure on the outer wall is more than that on the inner wall in the first curvature and less in the second curvature. Variation in actual pressure recovery coefficient (Cp) and pressure recovery efficiency ( η) is not very much within the range of Reynolds number tested for a particular diffuser. As area ratio increases value of Cp and η also increases . The optimum area ratio for 120 o diffuser is 4.5.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120959923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper gives a brief indication of artificial neural network and its application in power system for electrical load forecasting which can further be used for enhancement of power quality. The accuracy of load forecasts has a significant effect on economy and control of power system operations for reliable and secure operation of power system. In this paper the accurate and real time data are collected from Chhattisgarh load dispatch centre of western grid of India of year 2018. This data of power flow is simulated using artificial neural network. The purpose of short-term forecasting is to satisfy as much as possible, to improve prediction accuracy.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127574628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
