More or less, the system of transport starts as early as during the reign of King Tompok by constructing a bridge over Ningthi turel, known as Chindwin River in Myanmar. The transportation continues by opening the road to Assam and construct a drain called Tokhelkhong by King Kabomba. Slowly or rapidly, further development leads to the establish of well-maintained transport system in a state. Moreover, good transport system plays an important role in ensuring sustainable economic growth. On the other side, transport becomes an issue all over the world in terms of greenhouse gases emissions and global climate variability and changes. Studies suggest that in the last three decades, the level of carbon dioxide comes from the transport sector only. The need of time is to handle the transport sector holistically after a systematic research and analysis. Every corner of the world needs to formulate ambitious and responsible policies for the future generation. For the State of Manipur, the author examined visible causes of congestion on the case road.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129042704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dampers help in reducing buckling and failure of columns and beams by increasing the stability of the frame. During earthquakes, high-rise buildings are prone to destruction or significant deformation. Use of dampers reduce the shaking of reinforcement cement concrete structures during an earthquake. We used and analyzed various types of dampers to determine the suitability of various types dampers during an earthquake. An empirical study has been performed for the comparative review of two dampers: a fluid viscous damper and a tuned mass damper used for multi-story cement concrete building reinforcement. Time History Method is applied to assess the seismic behaviour of a G+15 storey building with and without dampers. The earthquake load is applied in both the x and y directions for research. TheIS1893:2002(part 1) code is used in conjunction with the ETABS 2018 version18.1.1 package for the purpose of analysis. The findings of these experiments are discussed in terms of numerous parameters such as maximal absolute displacement, absolute acceleration, absolute velocity, storey shear, storey drift, storey stiffness, and modal participation mass ratio in order to compare these parameters. Two kinds of dampers are used to dissipate seismic energy. In this article, a comparison of two different buildings of different bay sizes (5mx5m & 6mx6m) is used, as well as a comparative analysis of various parameters using Tuned Mass Damper and Fluid Viscous Damper.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122177872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is very difficult by theoretically to analysis temperature distribution in whole work -piece because of its complexity process and a single discharge is occurs very short time. A novel model proposed with realistic condition such as plasma radius, Gaussian heat flux and temperature dependent properties and this model use software ABAQUS 6.2. In this work piece crater diameter and depth is predicted on the basis of simulation. FEM model show the variation of crater size (temperature distribution) with variation in input parameter. In model, increasing discharge energy causes crater size increase means MRR and surface roughness increases. In this model, simulation show better result with experimental result and error is taken under consideration like 13 to 20% which is better result in present research scenario.","PeriodicalId":234213,"journal":{"name":"CSVTU Research Journal on Engineering and Technology","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121821612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
