Adaptive bit loading is a method to adapt the constellation size of the transmitted signal according to the channel variations by exclusion of heavily faded carriers from transmission and as a compensation higher modulation modes are allocated to subcarriers with good SNR. Windowing of OFDM signal is a spectrum pooling method for shaping the signal spectrum in order to reduce interference to neighbouring system (legacy users). In this paper different OFDM adaptive bit loading algorithms are combined with several window functions, and the bit error rate performance of the system is simulated for a wide sense stationary uncorrelated scattering (WSSUS) mobile multipath channel. We compare these two channel estimation methods in terms of accuracy (characterized by the MSE on the samples of the received pulse) and computational complexity. First different, previously proposed, nonlinearity models are reviewed and their equivalence is shown. Subsequently, analytical expressions are derived for the probability of error of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) OFDM systems in Rayleigh-faded channels, which show good agreement with results from a simulation study. It can be concluded from the results that for high SNR values the TX nonlinearities cause performance floors, which are independent of the MIMO configuration. For RX nonlinearities, however, the performance in this high SNR region does depend on the MIMO configuration. Coaches couple and decouple many times during the day, the direction of travel changes often, as do the scheduled duties and the corresponding needed passenger information. To support the on-board systems in such a dynamic environment, there is a need for a strong and robust management infrastructure. The train management system. As the development of train management systems evolves towards an IP-based approach, a strong connectivity management platform supporting the train management system is needed. We designed and implemented such a connectivity management platform, maintaining and controlling the configuration of the IP-network in the train, and this platform is detailed in this paper. Also, a service layer on top of the IP-network, providing facilities for a logical addressing scheme and event-based asynchronous communication, is presented. It will be shown in the paper that, by using such a connectivity management platform and overlaying service infrastructure, a lot of repetitive, low level programming is avoided. We developed the module that prevents weak links to be chosen as a route. This module decreases unexpected packet losses. Also, we introduced the protocol \"position and motion direction based multi-hop delay tolerant transfer\" that chooses the best intermediate node as the next data carrier. The simulation result marked high packet delivery ratio. BC corresponds to a point of the boundary of the capacity region where each user experiences the same relative loss with respect to his maximum capacity. Our goal is to propose algorithms to compute the corresponding point in DSL (digital subscriber line) systems where some users suffer from a near-far situation and for constraints on individual power spectrum densities.
