Summary statistics showed that males participate more than females in Nigerian agriculture. e farmers were small-holders. e results revealed low participation of youth in Nigerian agriculture. Farm size, access to credit and household size significantly influenced youth participation in Nigerian agriculture. Age, use of inorganic fertilizer, farm income, household size and cultivated farm size were labor enhancing. e study suggests that efforts to shape future work in Nigerian agriculture especially among youth should include among other things, access to land and provision of credit facilities.","PeriodicalId":231740,"journal":{"name":"Revista Espinhaço","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125666680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fi een visits were carried out, seven samplings in the dry season (April to October) and eight in the rainy season (November to March), totaling 360 hours of sampling effort. e main results indicate: a faunal profile with a predominance of insectivores, frugivores and omnivores in the areas and in seasons and high similarity. Identifying and analyzing the vertical accuracy of DEMs is relevant to understand the possibilities of using remote sensing products, which are periodically updated in different versions to improve quality. is research compared different DEM, such as NASADEM, TOPODATA, ASTER GDEM and ALOS AW3D30 in the Cerrado biome area, in the lower slopes. e analysis consisted of sampling 1002 homologous points from GNSS control points with high precision, and sampling in a vertical profile in 149 homologous points, towards the mouth-east direction of the Uberabinha river section. Statistical analyzes were performed using RMSE and Box-Plot and line graphs. The results showed that NASADEM was the most accurate vertically (RMSE 3.8) than the other DEMs, with TOPODATA being the least accurate DEM (RMSR 8.81). It was found that vertical accuracy is more related to the (re)processing of the analyzed DEMs than to the type of acquisition of information by sensors, such as the InSar method and photogrammetry.","PeriodicalId":231740,"journal":{"name":"Revista Espinhaço","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131903161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, we selected 22 capoes marshes and forests in two Conservation Units: Semper-Vivas National Park and Biribiri State Park. e sampling of arboreal vegetation was carried out in permanent plots installed randomly inside the forests. For the total set of capoes, we found 1692 arboreal individuals, distributed in 112 species and 40 botanical families. e most representative species was Richeria grandis. e composition of the areas included generalist and typical species from humid environments and savanna (Cerrado) vegetation. In some areas, tourism has enabled the valorization and preservation of cultural and natural heritage through listing, records of intangible heritage, seal concessions and creation of Conservation Units, especially in the axis of the Estrada Real, which was the route for the gold and diamonds outflow from the mid-18th century. e aim of this article is to provide an overview of tourism in the Serra do Espinhaco Biosphere Reserve, exploring the possible effects of this activity in the enhancement and preservation of the historic-natural heritage. Tis study has as theoretical and practical support in researches already carried out in the area of the Reserve within the scope of the Espinhaco’s Integrated Research Group (GIPE). As natural and cultural heritage constitute a true amalgamation when we refer to the RBSE, the work carried out within the scope of GIPE seeks a constant dialogue with other areas of knowledge, adding references in the areas of geology, biology, physical and human geography, archeology, heritage and social sciences. The great tourist differential of the RBSE resides in this unique heritage amalgamation, and it remains to be seen to what extent the tourists who visit it, in increasing numbers, really know this characteristic/ wealth/potential in order to value it.","PeriodicalId":231740,"journal":{"name":"Revista Espinhaço","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129188391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It's a actionbeyond Extension or Extroversion, but in a collaborative way, we have understanding the communities as co-producers ofknowledge. From this perspective, we have used the concept of Landscape to understand the experiences of communities inFelicio dos Santos and their relationships with the archaeological record with which they live daily and they organize narrativesabout origins, meanings, cultural heritage and possibilities of life. We started the discussion with the presentation of the physiographic characteristics and the archaeological data obtained by the investigations, to then argue about the local narratives that involve this multiplicity of knowledge, both in materiality and in immateriality. The aim is to underline how many archaeological sets and landscape landmarks are present in communities’ lives in a very intrinsic way, from basic subsistence issues to reflections on the cosmos. Our attention was based on the cultural diversity of Jequitinhonha Valley and on the ethical and political-social engagement of the UFVJM. Finally, we conclude this text for the defense of the regional cultural heritage and of the communities which are responsible for the preservation of multiplicity of existences in the Alto Aracuai Valley.","PeriodicalId":231740,"journal":{"name":"Revista Espinhaço","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127442734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
