First, the external disturbance caused by load mutation in the speed loop and the internal disturbance caused by the parameter sensitivity of the traditional MPCC method is analyzed which pointed out that the parameter mismatch will lead to the predicted current error and inaccurate delay compensation. To improve the disturbance rejection performance of the system, ADRC is introduced into the speed loop to eliminate the external disturbance in the speed loop. In addition, to improve the parameter robustness of MPCC, an inductance disturbance controller is proposed, including an inductance disturbance observer and inductance extraction algorithm, to update the accurate inductance information of the whole control system in real-time. Finally, the simulation results show that this method can improve the disturbances rejection performance by suppressing the external disturbance effectively in the speed loop and improve the parameter robustness by eliminating the influence of inductance parameter mismatch on the control performance, so can achieve comprehensive suppression of external and internal disturbances.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115493612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) is established based on static coordinate $alpha-beta$. The reference stator flux and voltages are intuitively tracked based on deadbeat control principle. Then, the reference voltage vectors (VVs) are used to construct the function. Based on this, the candidate voltage vectors are quickly determined in the three-vector method. Finally, to observe the lumped disturbances caused by parameter mismatch and make further compensation, a RODO is utilized. The robustness of the drive performance is enhanced with the use of less parameters and easier parameter tuning. The simulation is conducted and the results validate the robustness of the proposed predictive model.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"208 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124686508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the computational burden increases exponentially with the prediction horizon, making it difficult to apply in practical. In order to solve the above problems, a multi-step predictive control method based on ant colony optimization is proposed. The proposed method maintains good control performance and reduces the computational burden by 90% compared to traditional enumeration strategies. The innovations of the proposed method are: An ant colony optimization framework for back-to-back converter PMSG wind turbine systems with multi-step MPC is constructed, and a pheromone update mechanism is designed to fit the system. The relevant parameters design is also introduced.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"223 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124985804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A comprehensive disturbance observer (DOB) is designed to estimate the multiple disturbances in PMSM system. By integrating the estimation and future behavior of disturbances into the prediction horizon, an offset-free predictive control law is obtained by solving a constrained optimization problem. This ending impact attracts attention towards the thrust control of linear induction motors because its value decreases sharply with speed. Therefore, this study proposes a finite state model predictive control with two voltage vectors based on maximum thrust/ampere (T/A). The suggested method can directly control the thrust, lower the ripples for thrust and primary flux linkage (PFL), and increase the LIMs drive system efficiency. A fair resemblance between the suggested (finite state model predictive angle control II (FSMPAC II)) method and the previous method, which is based on one voltage vector (finite state model predictive angle control I (FSMPAC I)). A simulation study is presented based on MATLAB software to depict the merits of the proposed FSMPACII over FSMPACI. Finally, an arc induction machine is applied to demonstrate the suggested method’s correctness.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122703176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control strategy is required to deal with the special torque-current phase angle characteristics. This paper introduces the basic principle of model predictive control (MPC) and builds an MPC-based MATLAB simulation control system for SPO-SIPMSM, which can achieve MTPA control and fully utilize its two torque components. The results of simulation demonstrate that the proposed control system based on the MPC method has high response accuracy and stability for SPO-SIPMSM under no load and under load.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114044575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve this problem effectively, a method of updating current prediction model parameters based on current difference is proposed in this paper. Compared with the traditional model-free control scheme based on current difference using a lookup table, this scheme can update the current difference information in real-time and has better steady state performance. In the existing literature, the improved model-free predictive current control (MFPCC) methods usually need to reconstruct the current difference information for predicting the next step according to the current change information under the action of multiple voltage vectors. However, in the proposed method, the prediction model can be updated only with single current difference. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified on a 2.2kW synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) drive platform.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114505626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, because the point of load (POL) converter is regulated strictly, the negative input resistance character of CPLs leads to the reduction of system damping which can cause system instability. In this work, an effective robust cooperative predictive control method for DC microgrids is newly proposed in the case of large-scale constant power loads (CPLs) access, which can realize simultaneously strong-robust operation, accurate voltage regulation and power sharing of DC microgrids. First, the mathematical model of a bidirectional converter with CPLs is established and the instability trajectory of the phase plane is analyzed. Then, the instability factor is defined innovatively to quantity the degree of system instability caused by CPLs and its predictive model is derived. At last, the cost function including voltage regulation, power sharing and instability factor is constructed. The optimal control variable is obtained by rolling optimization solution which will regulate the voltage set point for droop control. Simulation results prove that the proposed method can maintain the stability of the system under the power of CPLs reaches 500KW.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130594730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A current sampling scheme is proposed for the FCS-MPC of the 2-SRB PMSM drives to reconstruct the phase currents when they are not measurable. To improve the accuracy of the reconstruction and the current control, a recursive least-square regressor considering the incomplete current information is proposed to estimate all parameters in the prediction model. The experimental results on a pump PMSM verify the performance of the proposed scheme in current reconstruction and in model estimation. And the advantage in voltage utilization is also shown.","PeriodicalId":231381,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE)","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126205438","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
