In this paper, we are presenting a unique intelligent electronic eye that provides road guidance to blind people while they are walking. Surrounding visual data is collected by image and obstacle sensors mounted on a helmet which the user has to put in. The data is sent to a processor which works in a line similar to our brain function. The processor analyses the data and provides necessary voice information to the user which helps them in movement. The electric power for this unit is availed through solar photo voltaic module, piezoelectric source and also from electricity generated from body temperature. The device will help in great extent to the visually impaired people who are unfortunate see this beautiful world.","PeriodicalId":231330,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th Annual Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering Conference (IEMECON)","volume":"353 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115921620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nanostructured solar cells are a class of photovoltaic devices which is a strong candidate for high efficiency energy generation. Hot carrier solar cells are a kind of nanostructured solar cells, for offering high power conversion efficiency, compared with the conventional single absorber solar cell, through the process of extracting power from photo-generated high energetic carriers prior to thermalization to lattice via phonons. In this paper, we have analyzed the band structure, thermodynamic properties, and hot carrier transport in solar cell.","PeriodicalId":231330,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th Annual Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering Conference (IEMECON)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131776186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But unlike other modes of transport non-conventional energy has not yet stepped into marine navigation. Apart from this the extensive use of petrol and other fossil fuels in ship has led to both water pollution and extinction of non-renewable energy sources. The purpose of this project is to design an electronic ship driven by renewable solar and ocean thermal energy, which will not only solve the above mentioned problems but will also provide effective passenger safety facilities. Desalination of marine water and use of motor controlled mirrors are points of main attraction. So this project is expected to serve humanity socio-economically.","PeriodicalId":231330,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th Annual Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering Conference (IEMECON)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132505897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the anisotropic property of HTS material, magnetic flux distributions are non-uniform in different axes. Therefore, analysis of HTS hysteresis motor using two dimensional modeling cannot provide high degree of accuracy. Thus, three dimensional modeling is developed for more accurate, precise and realistic results. The magnetic fields around and inside the motor can be computed accurately with the help of proposed three dimensional modeling of motor. To improve the performance in comparison of conventional hysteresis motors such type of motors are developed. The measured parameters are compared with the experimental results. Simulations are done with the help of MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics software.","PeriodicalId":231330,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th Annual Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering Conference (IEMECON)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132602383","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
