Anhand von qualitativen und quantitativen Daten zu 70 Durchführungen eines betriebswirtschaftlichen Planspiels in den letzten zehn Jahren zeigen wir vier Varianten der Planspielintegration auf und analysieren dabei die Wahrnehmung der Studierenden. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Planspiele unabhängig von der Integrationsvariante durchwegs positiv wahrgenommen werden. However, the predominant multiplayer format hinders their widespread use in undergraduate and postgraduate business education. We present a single-player simulation in progress ‘LeadSim’ which focuses on team leadership rather than a general business context. ‘LeadSim’ aims to develop personal competence and provide feedback on the consequences of individual decisions. Moreover, its design makes it convenient to use.
