Web service selection is playing a key role in the domain of the composition and it considers as the most important last informant of successful Automatic service composition. Since it is growing the web services in tremendous speed due to the innovation of cloud computing. It results to be available similar functionality over different providers. Then service selection based on Non-Functional Properties preferences becomes a significant factor in the service domain. Therefore, it arises severe concern in selection due to NP-hard problem and increasing the number of web services available. However, it has a considerable limitation in the conventional standalone computational platform of service selection. Therefore, we proposed service selection in distributed environment, which is BigData-space. Since Linear Programming (LP) plays major programming technique in service selection domain. Therefore, we select LP model to escalate it functionalities on BigData-space to improve the performance of the web service selection. We have identified, end-users selection is highly depend on custom QoS preferences on their selection. Therefore, we proposed LP based 0–1 Multi Choice Knapsack Problem to be satisfied the service selection in BigData-space.","PeriodicalId":229557,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Asia (ICCE-Asia)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129685048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper aims to provide different traffic cellular automata approaches used by researchers over the past decades. This paper also presents a traffic model based on one-dimensional cellular automaton rule 184 (CA-184). The methodology describes the basic CA-184 rule and introduces different type of parameters being used in traffic modelling. A CA-184 rule is applied to a single lane with one intersection. It also further extends the rule by applying adaptive safe distance between vehicles to capture the nature of real traffic flow. Despite the simplicity of cellular automata, the traffic model proves that it is reliable and effective to model a complex traffic stream.","PeriodicalId":229557,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Asia (ICCE-Asia)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125747290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tracking by detection has the inherent problems by false and miss detection. To deal with the false detection, we employed the Gaussian mixture probability hypothesis density (GM-PHD) filter because this filter is robust to noisy and random data processing containing many false observations. Thus, we revised the GM-PHD filter for visual MOT. Also, to handle miss detection, we propose a hierarchical tracking framework to associate fragmented or ID switched tracklets. Experiments with the representative dataset PETS 2009 S2L1 show that our framework are effective to decrease the errors by false and miss detection, and real-time capability.","PeriodicalId":229557,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Asia (ICCE-Asia)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114351362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BLE is used to transmit and receive data between nodes such as sensors, wearable devices in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. However, there is a possibility that an encryption key for communicating between nodes is cracked because of the security vulnerability of BLE. The security vulnerability of BLE is that the length of the Temporary Key (TK) to generate the encryption key is too short. It is a fatal problem in terms of a data security. We describe how an attacker can crack the encryption key through the vulnerability. To solve this problem, we propose an improved security method that increases the length of the TK. In the conventional BLE, the encryption key can be cracked within 20 seconds. But, it may take 600,000,000,000 years when the proposed method is used. Therefore, the proposed method can ensure that it is infeasible to crack the encryption key.","PeriodicalId":229557,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Asia (ICCE-Asia)","volume":"435 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133684361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present two similarity measures, which compute a similarity between two matrices, based on the temporal feature variation and sequence length difference, respectively. Especially, the matrix object used in this paper has unique characteristic. Each row and column has different meaning. Each row corresponds to a frame of sequence and each column corresponds to variation of a feature by time. We analyze this characteristic of matrix object and extract additional information for acquiring robust performance. From these analyses, we assume that the feature with a large amount of variation is more important than the feature with lower variation and the sequence length difference between two gestures is helpful to calculate a similarity. And then we define two factors: feature importance factor and scaling factor. And then we present two similarity measures and apply them to three public benchmark databases: Cambridge hand gesture database, ChaLearn database and SKIG database. The experimental results show that our proposed similarity measures acquires the improvement of performance.","PeriodicalId":229557,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Asia (ICCE-Asia)","volume":"205 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133654548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
