The aims were to determine the relationship existing between grain yield and other yield attributing characters so as to identify the plant characters that could serve as good yield components to improve rice yield under different rice crop establishment methods. Total tiller density had positive and significant association with number of effective tillers under all the methods of establishment of rice crop. But, dry matter accumulation had negative association with grain yield under direct seeded rice due to accumulation in the stem before grain filling and poor translocation of photosynthates from the source to the sink. Total tiller density, 1000 grain weight and filled grains per panicle contributed the maximum to grain yield under direct seeded rice, non-puddled transplanted rice and puddled transplanted rice","PeriodicalId":22936,"journal":{"name":"The Pharma Innovation","volume":"5 11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90900519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experiment was conducted in split plot design with three levels of FYM (0, 15 and 22.5 t ha-1) as main plot treatments and four levels of N (0, 62.5, 94 and 125 kg ha-1) as sub plot treatments with three replications. Irrespective of FYM, increase in the level of N significantly increased the grain yield at every level of N applied. The higher grain yield under N125 was accompanied by a significant increase in growth and yield attributes. Irrespective of N, application of FYM15 significantly increased the grain over FYM0 but further increase to FYM22.5 failed to cause further significant affect over FYM15. The higher grain yield under FYM15 was accompanied by the significant increase in the growth and yield attributes. The interaction between N and FYM was significant. The highest grain yield (7.67 t ha-1) was recorded under the combination of FYM15 + N125, which was at par with FYM22.5 + N125 (7.89 t ha-1) but 12 % higher than FYM22.5 + N94 (6.84 t ha-1) and 15 % higher than FYM15 + N94.","PeriodicalId":22936,"journal":{"name":"The Pharma Innovation","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134992238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This plant is known for its diverse phytochemical composition, including flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, and phenolic compounds, which have been found to possess potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The antioxidant activity of Hemidesmus indicus has been linked to its ability to scavenge free radicals and inhibit oxidative stress, which can contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Hemidesmus indicus has been shown to have several health benefits, including anti-cancer, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties. The plant has also been found to have wound healing, neuroprotective, and hepatoprotective effects. Due to its health-promoting properties, Hemidesmus indicus has attracted significant attention in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Value-added products such as health supplements, functional foods, and herbal medicines have been developed from Hemidesmus indicus to cater to the growing demand for natural and safe alternatives to conventional medicines. In conclusion, Hemidesmus indicus is a promising plant with diverse phytochemicals that possess potent antioxidant and health-promoting properties. Further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms behind its medicinal properties and to explore its potential as a source of natural antioxidants and functional ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries.","PeriodicalId":22936,"journal":{"name":"The Pharma Innovation","volume":"95 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77704835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These PUFAs are oxidation-prone. Before being applied to or added as a value to food products, PUFAs need to be protected, hence this is accomplished by microencapsulation. This review provides a comprehensive overview of different types of PUFA rich oil seeds and their benefits in human health. Health benefit of pufa include obesity which have become a global health crisis. Clinical studies on obesity, cardiovascular disease, and inflammatory disorders have all shown that omega 3 fatty acids have effects on anti-inflammatory characteristics that can reduce or lower the risk of heart diseases. One of the newest technique to prevent oxidation of PUFAs is microencapsulation. One strategy for maintaining the integrity of delicate chemicals is microencapsulation. It is also a way to create materials with new beneficial features. The method of microencapsulation involves encasing microscopic particles in a polymeric shell.
