The FGPEH is composed of a mixture of two different materials: ceramic alumina and of aluminum sandwiched by two identical piezoelectric layers. These two layers represent piezoelectric actuators, which are symmetrically and perfectly bonded to the top and bottom surfaces of the FGM substrate layer. The FGPEH is modeled by a rectangular Timoshenko beam considering the physical axis instead of the neutral axis. The position of the physical axis has been determined. Only geometric and material linearities are considered in this study. Power law relations are used to obtain the constituent effective material properties. The lagrangian formalism is adopted to establish the free vibration governing equations of the functionally graded piezoelectric beam. The eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes of the bimorph functionally graded piezoelectric beam are computed analytically. This study showed that there is a critical frequency that delimits two distinct vibratory behaviors. For frequencies below (resp above) the critical frequency there is a generation of two (resp four) traveling waves. The effects of pulsation, volume fraction index, and location of the physical axis on the eigenmodes are also examined.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127880366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective of this study is to perform an accurate energy analysis for a PV system in a Moroccan region characterized by arid climatic conditions, by introducing a detailed energy evaluation adapted to the studied system. The energy analysis performed in this work is focused on the implementation of a thermal balance that includes the different components that constitute the considered PV module. A comparative study between two typical days was conducted for a site that is situated in the Errachidia area of Morocco. A mathematical method using the heat balance and the different climatic parameters was applied for a winter day and a summer day which are examined in this work. The effect of the meteorological parameters that define each testing day on the energy performance of the PV module has been studied. The obtained results indicate that the electrical efficiency and electrical power take daily averages that reach: 12.55%, 55.42 W and 11.24%, 49.89 W for the tested winter and summer days, respectively.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114432808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our article has the target of proposing a key element of this imperative, by elaborating a data-driven architecture relying on automation of production lines, given that data should be placed at the center of digital manufacturing. Furthermore, the advent of Industry 4.0 technologies has imposed their integration into any modern architecture model, thanks to their ability to enhance the properties of real-time, mobility and connectivity. Thus, we have ensured that our multi-layer proposed model be hybrid in nature, combining both traditional technologies and those of Industry 4.0 generation, so that could serve digital mutations progressively, Also, the suggestion of this work has been fortified by resilient measures to face some serious challenges, such as: cybersecurity threats, agility in implementation, energy saving and investment optimization.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125333897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The HRES, which is composed of Photovoltaic (PV) panels, Wind Turbines (WTs), Hydrogen Tanks (HTs), Electrolyzer units, and a Fuel Cell (FC) system, will be designed to maximize profitability. The efficiency of DO is assessed in this study and is compared to commonly used optimization methods such as Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The findings reveal that DO has better convergence properties than GA and PSO and can generate optimal solutions in a relatively short amount of time. Our research provides a more sustainable and eco-friendly system for electrification and can serve as a valuable reference for investment in areas of Southwest Morocco where electricity is scarce.","PeriodicalId":228989,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126917908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
