It has the abilities of self-organization, self-learning and self-reasoning. In recent years, MAS is one of the hot researches in the field of distributed artificial intelligence. It is widely used in various aspects of the social field and provides a new idea for complex system. This paper firstly has a review to introduce multi-agent technique implemented in many social fields to show its extensive usability in different social fields and well ability to solve different complex problems. Petroleum production processes possess the characteristics of complexity, multi-variables and uncertainty etc. Traditional production techniques in petroleum field have faced lots of limitations in modern environment. It is necessary to adopt advanced and appropriate methods to improve production techniques. To solve the difficulty of fault diagnosis caused by delayed outputs of discrete systems, a discrete delay-free transformation approach is presented for delayed outputs, and the problem of fault diagnosis for discrete systems with delayed outputs is transformed into the problem of state observation of a discrete delay-free augmented system by constructing an augmented system and doing the delay-free transformations. A novel observer-based fault diagnosis approach is presented, which is different from the traditional observer-based fault diagnosis approaches by using residual to embody faults. Compared with the traditional observer-based fault diagnosis approaches, the proposed fault diagnoser has the faster response speed and higher accuracy. To enhance flexibility of control system of wheeled mobile robots, hybrid system frameworks which consider simultaneously the control and decision-making issues are required. In this paper, we model hybrid system using hybrid automata: through analyzing the control process, discrete state set for wheeled mobile robot positioning is set up; transition conditions among discrete states are defined; kinetic equations corresponding to each discrete state are established. This method is particularly useful in modeling the interactions between discrete and continuous components that exist simultaneously in robotic systems. A consensus protocol which considers the average information of the agents' states in a certain time interval is proposed. Based on the frequently-domain analysis and matrix theory, the sufficient conditions for the second-order multi-agent system converging to a fast stationary consensus and a fast dynamical consensus are obtained, respectively. The sufficient condition is derived such that the system is asymptotically stable and the H∞ performance is satisfied for fuzzy time-delay systems. This condition is formuulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Using evidential reasoning algorithms, the criteria values are aggregated and the interval intuitionist fuzzy sets of alternatives are obtained; considering the incomplete certain information on weight, a nonlinear programming model is developed and the weight of various attribute is obtained. The niche genetic algorithm is proposed to search optimization and improve astringency. The modificatory operations of new individuals are added after new individuals were produced, and the fitness can be improved by the operations. The adaptive crossover probability and adaptive mutation probability are proposed, which consider the influence of every generation to algorithm and the effect of different individual fitness in every generation.
