The presence of textbooks is a crucial element in the teaching and learning process, as they serve as a valuable resource for both students and educators at all levels of education. This research aims to analyze the students’ needs in developing English textbooks to improve high abilities level of law students. This type of research used descriptive qualitative. The research method is a survey through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, for this reason, a needs analysis questionnaire was given to 56 students to obtain information about their needs in English at the Faculty of Law of Universitas Prof.Dr. Hazairin SH. The results of the data analysis reveal the importance of English textbooks, specifically in the field of Law (English for Specific Purposes). In this case, language skills and reading were more emphasized. The participants of this study were the second semester students. Purposive sampling technique was used in this study. The participants were divided into two groups, the experimental was 30 students and the control group was 30 students. This study used quasi-experimental research. The instrument used in collecting data was multiple choice test. The total items of the test were 20 items. The finding shows that a mean score of 29.87 on the pre-test and 52.07 on the post-test reading through authentic materials can help students become more proficient readers, particularly in areas such as identifying primary ideas, supporting details, factual interactions, topic-related vocabulary, pronouncing references, and word meaning recognition. It shows that the hypothesis alternative (ha) was accepted. Some sources call this language as West Makeang language and others call it Moi language. However, in this research, the term used is the Makeang Luar language as used by the Language Agency, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Although language agency uses the word 'Makian, this research prefers the local term, Makeang. Thus the term used is Makeang language. As a language, Makeang Luar also has a speech level in daily conversation. This is related to local culture. Generally, the speech level in various languages is always related to the level of politeness, civility, or respect for someone, both in the context of position, kinship relations, or accessibility and geographic situations. Therefore, this research will describe the speech levels in Makeang Luar. By using a sociolinguistic theoretical framework, this research will descriptively describe Makeang Luar language which is the object of this research. The speech level in Makeang Luar language can be categorized into two, dimension of the vertical speech level and the horizontal speech level. Vertical speech level is related to differences in age, degree of position or social status of a person, and the relationship between husband and wife. The usage of learning technologies and learning outcomes in the Sociology Education Study Program was the main focus of this investigation. The findings found that using learning technology had improved lecturers' ability to plan, carry out, and assess instruction of student learning gains have not entirely benefited from this. Students' cognitive domain benefits from the usage of learning technology, particularly in the emotive and psychomotor domains when used powtoon as media. Data processing techniques using SPSS t test, namely for looking for a correlation between the variables X and Y. In calculating the hypothesis obtained value Sig 0.031. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. These results indicate that the Sig value is less than 0.05 (0.031 less than 0.05). This means that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted, namely there is positive and significant influence in the study entitled \"Status Influence Socio-Economy on the Performance of Economics Teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Parigi can be tested the truth. Thus it can be concluded that socioeconomic status is very influential and significant on teacher performance. The data collection procedure uses observation and interview that is semi-interview. This research uses qualitative methods as a research methodolgy. The implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka at SDN 2 Timoreng Panua and SDN 2 Sereang has entered its second year of implementation. Schools have begun to adapt to this new curriculum. The preparation of the KOSP has been carried out since the beginning of the Kurikulum Merdeka implementation. Then, it follows the making of teaching modules and the implementation of assessments. Because it is a new thing, of course there are obstacles faced by the school in its implementation. Especially at the beginning of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka due to the lack of knowledge regarding the implementation of this Kurikulum Merdeka. The incorporation of character education based on online learning has an impact on attributes like religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, peace-loving, social obligation, and responsibility. Character education based on online learning can have an impact on how children develop their moral beliefs, integrity, critical thinking, independence, participation in other activities, and responsibility. It can be concluded that a distant learning method (online) was used to implement character education under the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic. Research methods of literature review by looking for theoretical references relevant to the case or problem found, namely the managerial strategy of the teacher in strengthening character with the aim as a consideration in choosing and determining the appropriate strategy to use in accordance with its effectiveness and the ability of the teacher to implement it. The results showed that some of the managerial strategies of teachers in strengthening character education are to choose various methods applied online and offline. Online character strengthening activities include the involvement of various innovations in online learning methods through various interesting content, interactive multimedia courseware, portfolios, whatsapp class groups, google classes, sevima delink, virtual applications such as zoom meeting, google meeting, local live TV, Youtube, social media management, e-learning system management, character control books (chacker characters), Character games, establishing intense communication over seluller phones. Scott Fitzgerald. Based on the novel, the character tries to do anything to get their happiness such as wasting their money for unimportant things which is called hedonism. This study aimed to analyze the representative of hedonism ideology and the culture in New York in 1920s in the Great Gatsby novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The theories that are used in this study are hedonism theory. This study uses sociological approach and library research which takes some information related to the research problems from books and other literatures to gather the data.\u0000The result of the analysis to answer the first research problem shows that from seven kinds of hedonism, there are two kinds that are found by researchers in this study; Hedonistic Egoism, and Hedonistic Utilitarianism. The first kind is Hedonistic Egoism that can be seen when Tom and Daisy move to another city and let Gatsby clean up the mess that they have made.
