Available day and night, patients can access this information at their convenience when they are most interested in learning. Included in this article are selected and annotated resources for locating patient education materials. Unlike medicine, where computers have become a part of everyday clinical practice, they are not as ubiquitous in mental health settings, where often only the receptionist uses a terminal. This article presents a guide that has been used to teach the Mental Health Internet to mental health professionals in continuing education workshops and classes with psychology graduate students. It includes descriptions of the major mental health Webliographies, followed by sites with resources, such as diagnostic, treatment, and medication information, mental health news, journal articles, client self-help resources, and online seminars.
