However the speed of traditional region proposal algorithms is too slow and become a bottleneck. Researchers have proposed a lot of neural networks for the improvements. With the region proposal network proposed, neural network can finish the computation enabling cost-free region proposals, which make it possible to do real-time detection and tracking. This paper will set up a system which can detect and track drone by using neural networks such as Faster R-CNN and Siamese-RPN.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127235698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the variation of User Equipment (UE) and Node (eNB) or Base Station (BS) to find the Inter-Cell Interference Coordinate (ICIC) from other nearby BS via Signal to interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR). Assuming that the nodes of the LLA and LWA are distributed randomly, the distance is between 50–1,200 meters. By using MATHLAB program to simulate the LTE-Pro network. The results showed that when the distance increased, the Throughput decreased in both cases and concluded that the 600 meters distance is the distance that affects the performance of LTE-Pro. The hard-switching operation incurs high stress and switching losses to the device. These problems can be alleviated by zero voltage switching in which a power switch is made to turn on and off at zero voltage. This paper presents analysis and design of a Zero-Voltage-Switched (ZVS) quasi-resonant buck converter operating in full-wave mode. The prototype converter is designed and built. Test results show that the designed converter achieves zero voltage switching and possesses good output regulation throughout its operating range.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122648505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main structure of the levitation system consisted of levitation cores, levitation coils, and inserted permanent magnets installed on both sides of the train. The key variable affecting tractive force were magnetic flux density from the levitation coils and permanent magnets, the cross section of the levitation cores, and the permeability of air gaps. To estimate traction force, the magnetic circuits of the levitation systems were first analyzed accounting for air gap variation as a results of total train weight, as tractive force across air gaps would need to balance the weight of the train. The simulations were carried out using a finite element analysis (FEA) program with constant air gaps of 10mm, at which permanent magnets were installed. The simulation and estimation results were compared to verify the accuracy of the proposed estimation method.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127716475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Educating consumers on audio technology is proving to be relevant for better product judgement and audio quality appreciation. This particular study is conducted to obtain the response of an untrained listener when exposed to the technical aspects of audio and take the first step towards training the consumer in audio technology using ‘audio descriptors’ found in the EQ(equalizer) plugin of commonly used DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) from Apple called Logic Pro. Since frequency is the most relevant aspect of sound, the intention was to train the technical aspect of these terms to the participants with the help of audio spectrum and human hearing range. Statistical analysis of the listening tests shows the possibilities of bridging the gap between the audio technology and consumers is very likely even though grasping advanced and complex technologies requires ear training and practise.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132191355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the clinical applications, EEG signal have a conventional frequency range of 0.1-Hz to 70-Hz. The cutoff frequency for an LPF in EEG acquisition system should be in the same range. Moreover, to minimize size and power-consumption of an LPF is challenging due to circuit components and schematics. The subthreshold buffer-based biquadratic cell by Thanapitak et al., which is a compact nanopower electrocardiogram (ECG) lowpass filter with low supply consumption, have recently been developed. This buffer-based biquad has a 100-Hz cutoff frequency. Based on this paper, we designed and analyzed an LPF for conventional EEG signals. Our LPF was designed with a foundation of the buffer-based biquad and supplemented by a bulk-driven method. We modified a fourth-order LPF from a pseudo-differential biquad, which combined two bulk-driven buffer-based biquads together. By simulation, our LPF has an average cutoff frequency of 10.52±0.5-Hz which is suitable for conventional EEG measurements as expected. The simulation results also shown that a dynamic range of our bulk-driven are 68.62-dB with a low output noise. After comparison with the conventional bufferbased biquad, our LPF have an improved Figure-of-Merit in nanopower filter to 11.67-aJ.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129828019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of course, the main important part of those devices is the battery. Li-ion battery is the most used not only in those small appliances such as smart phone, tablet, laptop, etc., but also in high power application like in electric vehicle or backup system for power grid. To fully utilize the battery for those applications, a suitable electrical equivalent circuit model must be selected for precise estimation of battery voltage and remaining capacity. Thevenin-based equivalent circuit model with various number of RC pairs has been used in many literatures which give different accuracy of voltages results. This paper proposed the consideration for number of RC pairs for equivalent circuit model using curve fitting method and the goodness of fit results base on the values of root mean square error at several state of charge of battery. The results show good indicator between simple circuit model with low accuracy or complex circuit model with higher accuracy.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126866181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
