Kormiltsev. The crisis of Soviet ideology of the second half of the 20th century is seen as a conflict of ideology and religion, actualized after March 5, 1953. The cultural periods of Soviet history of the second half of the 20th century are characterized in the context of religious consciousness. Thaw period — aimed at finding alternative scenarios, but gave nothing but the very state of the search. The era of stagnation, which simultaneously attempted to capture the stability of society while capturing the ideals of the Thaw, which were not suitable for this purpose. The period of perestroika, which uncovered all the accumulated contradictions. I. Kormiltsev's work is taken as a marker of religious instability 1980–1990s. The conclusion is made that in this period the poet is characterized by the actualization of Christian meanings. The analysis of the poem «The Scoundrel and the Angel» is carried out for the subject characterization. The text is parsed as an example of assertion of Christian meanings through their formal negation.The conclusion is made that the actualization of Christian symbolism, characteristic of I. The author identifies three stages that confirm the evolution and/or formation of this \"place of memory. According to Pierre Nore, “places of memory” arise at the points of significant events in culture, thus expressing “national memory”. This paper attempts to trace the appearance of certain symbols characterizing the territory of the Apennine Peninsula. There emerges a way of reading the cultural text of a nation by the Other, inextricably linked with the influence of visual arts and the subjective experience of travelers on it. Long–term attitudes that have developed in the speculation of foreign cultures as a result of interactions with Italian reality are cultural codes understood as keys capable of deciphering the nation’s unique features. Attention is paid to the peculiarities of appearance, structural parts and socio-cultural characteristics of the magazine, which became a unique platform for creativity, work and communication within the first wave of Russian emigration. The author makes an attempt to determine the degree of inclusion of the journal in European culture and to identify features of the Russian cultural code in the journal «Modern Notes». In recent decades, the issue of Russian emigration has become a key aspect of humanitarian research. This is reflected in numerous publications by historians, philosophers, cultural scholars, and philologists. Nevertheless, a sufficient number of research gaps remain out of sight. Therefore, drawing attention to some stories becomes an impetus to search and publish Russian and foreign sources on the topic, revealing new aspects of the phenomenon of Russian emigration. The phenomenon of the magazine is also that it was created by emigrants, in the past, former political activists, who were far from publishing activity and publishing. Therefore, the degree of success of the journal was in direct dependence on what copyrights will be placed on its pages, who can attract authors for «promotion» of the journal. «Modern notes» for twenty years (1920–1940) labor-intensive and difficult work produces seventy books. The editorial staff moved to the European capitals: Paris, Berlin, Prague. The article presents an analysis of the image of Faust and the theme of love from the position of the theory of the symbol. It is argued that, going beyond the boundaries of the part of the tragedy of J. W. Goethe, the image of Faust becomes something that in its meaning approaches the symbol. This phenomenon is accompanied by transformation into other specific incarnations and refraction of worldview constructs. The paper discusses the features of the theory of the symbol of Russian researchers of the twentieth century: A. F. Losev, Y. M. Lotman, S. S. Averintsev. The interpretation of the theme of love is based on the philosophical views of V. S. Solovyov. Special attention is paid to the concept of \"code\". The author examines the process of including this concept in scientific discourse. Draws attention to the fact that, despite the \"vagueness\" of this concept, it has been actively used in the process of distinguishing cultures since the second half of the twentieth century. The socio-cultural code is presented in the form of a system of certain rules, with the help of which the semantic content of the sign systems of a particular cultural space is revealed. Special attention is paid to the \"layering\" of cultural codes. The process of differentiation between \"Own\" and \"Others\" is demonstrated using the \"inner\" meaning included in the socio-cultural code. The ability to \"read\" the \"hidden\" in the cultural code made it possible to form a deeper understanding of socio-cultural identity. The article provides a brief analysis of the changes that have occurred in the cultural space of modern Russian society. Perception patterns, languages, forms of reproduction and exchange have changed before the eyes of one generation. The development of digital technologies led to the \"explosion\" of mass communication, which absorbed and dissolved any singularity, replaced the word with a picture. The expansion and growth of information, its endless extension begins to simulate meanings. The icon, the icon ceases to carry a layering. The effect of the picture is aimed at experiencing, not thinking. The author emphasizes that the changes that have taken place have led to transformations in the \"encoding-decoding\" system. Modern sociocultural codes are gradually losing their \"hidden\" meaning, becoming one-dimensional. Increasingly, the codification process resembles the principle of computer code, when everything \"superfluous\" is excluded from the scale of assessments and actions. Attention focused on the essential parts of this code. We believe that the cultural code of Russian civilization consists of the following basic components: (1) In terms of energy, Russia, unlike Western civilization, used the energy of space, not time energy, which allowed extensive development over several centuries, transferring the basic cultural archetype to the vast newly developed spaces. (2) The second essential element of Russian self-standing was the ethnic component. Initially, Russia, Russians are a super-ethnos that synthesized different ethnicities and cultures, united by a single language and state, while preserving the customs and language of the peoples with whom the leading Slavic ethnos came into contact. Ethnically, Russians are Eurasians who genetically combine Western and Eastern peoples.(3) Finally, the third essential component of the cultural code of Russia is the so-called “numerical code” of culture. The numerical code of culture connected with the numerical interpretation of the Absolute, it determines the nature and speed of the movement of culture in relative or historical (in the words of N.A. Berdyaev) time. The specificity of Russia lies in the fact that three world religions have historically existed on its territory: Christianity (Orthodoxy), Islam, and Buddhism. In terms of cultural codes, Islam and Buddhism (if we consider Nirvana as the highest existential goal) are religions whose ontological code is equal to one, which at the cultural level corresponds to statics and traditionalism. The concepts of the cultural code and how it is related to cultural identity are considered, and the concept of identity itself is also analyzed. Roland Barthes reasoned about whether the cultural code is unconscious. The article examines the importance of the conscious and unconscious in cultural codes, as well as how it affects cultural and national identity. The article discusses exactly how national and cultural identity differs, and what factors influence these differences. At the same time, examples of their similarity, commensurability with each other, and how they affect the building of the country's identity are given. Examples are given of how certain value aspects affect the understanding of the code, and at what points there is a cultural conflict between Russian and Turkish culture. Several cultural codes are considered, with examples of their positive and negative connotations in their understanding, and how semiotic factors influence this. The article provides both historical and cultural examples of the interaction between the two countries, and how the value factors of these countries affect the understanding of each other. The article analyzes the historical development of the symbolism of Russian and Turkish culture, the connection of socio-semiotic elements with cultural traditions is shown by examples.
