Differences between the United States and China are becoming one of the fundamental elements of major powers' competition. Some experts believe that confrontation between the US and China will result in a new edition of bipolarity. Others maintain that the rivalry between the world's two leading economies is a bilateral conflict and cannot evolve into a bipolar world order similar to that of the Cold War. In any case, US-China military tensions are a major risk. These tensions are a time bomb. There is a real risk of a dangerous escalation over Taiwan.","PeriodicalId":224259,"journal":{"name":"Analytical papers of the Institute of Europe RAS","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127337949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Scholz to China (without the participation of President E. Macron) allowed analysts and the world media to conclude that the Franco-German tandem is in a crisis. The authors set the goal of analysing the tandem problems at present and identifying a future model of cooperation. Contrary to wide-spread views, the authors believe that the deep essence of the crisis lies in difficulty for the tandem participants to correct and manage the asymmetry of relations and processes at national, European and international levels. The article defines the future model of cooperation between France and Germany as selective partnership.","PeriodicalId":224259,"journal":{"name":"Analytical papers of the Institute of Europe RAS","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121645660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, we develop a description of the experience of economic reunification of the Saarland with compatriots in the rest of Germany in the areas of maintaining and developing a system of social benefits, intensifying trade, stabilizing regional markets, strengthening the regional economic structure, etc. The unique experience of Saarland integration can play an important role in the development and adaptation of measures of economic and regional policy that are similar in meaning if the population of the people's republics of Donbass approves further integration into the constitutional and economic space of Russia.","PeriodicalId":224259,"journal":{"name":"Analytical papers of the Institute of Europe RAS","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124120999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the presidential election in France is always a landmark, a resonating event. The first round of 2022 presidential election, held on April 10, highlighted the process of fragmentation of the French party and political landscape and its polarization. For the first time in political history of modern France, almost 2/3 votes were given to representatives of extreme right and extreme left political forces. In this paper the course of the presidential campaign and results of the first round of the election are analyzed. The potential results of the second round and its consequences are presented.","PeriodicalId":224259,"journal":{"name":"Analytical papers of the Institute of Europe RAS","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115383271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
