In this document we study the perception of happiness in Spanish industry 4.0 technology related entrepreneurs in relation to income acquisition, we seek to find the relationship that occurs between these variables. Currently, there are a limited number of studies that address the relationship between these two variables and in general expectations it is determine that the relationship is natural. Given this previous reality and with the intention of reinventing scientific knowledge in the relationship of happiness and income acquisition, this work presents an analysis of these variables in Spanish industry 4.0 technology related entrepreneurs. A study to discover relationships was carried out using primary data from the barometer of the Center for Sociological Research (CSR). From this data, a quantitative analysis was completed with results showing that the average rate of happiness is greater as incomes increases until a limit (1800€=3.35 increases to 3000€=10.75) and then is reduces again (4500€=6.13). Observations also revealed there's a lack of progression of the monetary income and perception of happiness relationship and there's a need to develop strategies that increase the subjective well-being guided in the principles of common good, happiness management, job satisfaction and social relations, among other things and there's need to confirm this results in other sectors.","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127224034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many different algorithms mentioned in previous research papers, among them are the virtual identifier, pruning strategy, support vector machines, and apriori algorithms. VID is to find relation between record and vid. The apriori algorithm helps the fuzzy association rules algorithm and it takes around six hundred seconds to detect a mail bomb attack. In this research paper, we identified Crime mapping analysis based on KNN (K – Nearest Neighbor) and ANN (Artificial Neural Network) algorithms to simplify this process. Crime Mapping is conducted and Funded by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS). Evidence based research helps in analyzing the crimes. We calculate the crime rate based on the previous data using data mining techniques. Crime Analysis uses quantitative and qualitative data in combination with analytic techniques in resolving the cases. For public safety purposes, the crime mapping is an essential research area to concentrate on. We can identity the most frequently crime occurring zones with the help of data mining techniques. In Crime Analysis Mapping, we follow the following steps in order to reduce the crime rate: 1) Collect crime data 2) Group data 3) Clustering 4) Forecasting the data. Crime Analysis with crime mapping helps in understanding the concepts and practice of Crime Analysis in assisting police and helps in reduction and prevention of crimes and crime disorders.","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126807495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, universities have played a pivotal role in the rise of innovative enterprises and is a core component of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Understanding key drivers of university-based entrepreneurship could assist academic institutions in focusing their resource investment and better prepare students to pursue projects beyond the classroom. This paper explores various factors in university-based start-up creation, their impact on the ever-growing ecosystem, and derives an understanding of the key attributes’ relationships. The attributes analyzed in this paper are the universities’ academic strength, financial resources, and regional support. The increasing trend of innovation and entrepreneurship is spreading throughout campuses globally, resulting in educational institutions seeking guidance to develop more student-based ventures. T-tests were performed to determine the relationship of the data, regression to characterize the relationship, Coefficient of Determination to understand the quality of correlation, and Regression Coefficients to measure the sensitivity of the relationship. This paper explores what the entrepreneurial universities have in common; they’re able to build the content of their startup’s product (engineering strength) while having the ability to support their business around the product (business strength).","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128765426","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Streimer Sheet Metal is a ductwork manufacturing company in Portland, Oregon. One of its products is insulated ductwork that is manufactured using a duct pinning machine. The company’s objective is to expedite the manufacturing process. This study applies HDM to compare three different criteria and ten different subcriteria before ranking four different outcomes (Machines). The analytical hierarchy process that is used in this study is a decision-making tool that can help describe the general decision operation by decomposing a complex problem into a multi-level hierarchical structure of objectives, criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives [1]. This particular model was validated and quantified by a panel of six experts and the criteria were ranked through pairwise comparisons. The results of the model show that building machine 3, which is a four Independently moving heads machine is the best alternative for Streimer.","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133722984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, the issue continues to increase in popularity, but remains poorly understood and its motivations remain undertheorized. The researchers affirm that compassion can complement the individual’s own traditional motivations to influence social entrepreneurship. A model of three mechanisms is presented (integrative thinking, prosocial cost-benefit analysis and commitment to alleviate the suffering of others) that transform compassion into social entrepreneurship and identify the institutional conditions under which it is most likely to be carry on. In this article, we present an introduction on the definition of compassion, a model of how compassion encourages entrepreneurship and a model of the emerging organizational capacity for compassion, and we also discuss the contribution of both models.","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124027619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the possibility of producing spare parts according to current demand and close to the place of actual demand, additive manufacturing (AM) has the potential to solve this challenge. Cost-intensive toolmaking, long transport distances and high warehouse stock can thus be prevented. In order to make optimum use of the above-mentioned advantages of AM, new general conditions for spare parts logistics must be created. One possibility is to provide IT support through the development of a software tool. The aim of the software tool is to ensure easy access to AM for all participants of the supply chain. As part of the research project 3Dsupply (Project ID: 02K16C162), a software solution is developed, that consists of two different modules: AM feasibility assessment and AM producer selection. During the AM feasibility assessment, the economic and technological benefit of AM based on the spare part data is estimated. The subsequent selection of appropriate 3D print service providers is conducted based on a matching of customer requirements and producer characteristics. Possible users of the software tool are not only the spare parts demanders and the producers of additive parts itself, but also the logistics service provider, which, in particular in the scenario of a full supply service provider, can act as an intermediary between spare parts demanders and producers.","PeriodicalId":224168,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Conference (TEMSCON)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115335008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
