The starting materials were biotite granite + NnF + LiF. Under 1000 bar and 840℃, more than two immiscible liquid phases were produced from the homogeneous granite melt rich in F and Li. Electron microprobe data suggest that the immiscible liquid phases can be divided into (ⅰ) a silicate melt rich in F and Fe (melanocratic glass balls), (ⅱ) a silicate melt poor in F (matrix glass), and (ⅲ) a melt consisting mainly of fluorates (leucocratic glass balls). In conjunction with the chemical and mineral compositions, the structure and texture of granites in the Nanling region, the experimental results are discussed in this paper. Precise relative connections were also made between CGBN85 and several existing international standards. A whole adjustment was made by applying the parameter adjustment method, taking scale functions for each LCR-G meter into account. The nationwide new CGBN85 with an average internal accuracy ±8μGal [10~(-8)ms~(-2)] was then established and has been used, since its official appraisal, in gravimetric practices for two years. According to their trace elements geochemical and petrochemical characteristics, they can be divided into calc-alkaline and alkaline granites. The petrogenesis and magma sources of these granitoid rocks are different. The Jinningnian-Chengjiangnian granitoid rocks include Mopanshan granite body, Moshaying granite body and Lugu granite body. The Mopanshan body might be formed by partial melting of the lower crust and due to refusion of basic volcanic rocks. The magma source of the Moshaying and the Lugu bodies might be formed by partial melting of the upper crust. The Hongge-Ailanghe granites belonging to the Hercynian-Indosinian may be products of complex melting from the crust-mantle materials caused by the increase of temperature during rifting stage in the area. The Cida and Taihe alkaline granites belonging to the Hercynian-Indosinian might be derived from alkaline basaltic magma by differentiation. By introducing the erogenous DNA containing the goal gene(s) into cotton and rice, several new varieties with economic value and genetic stability are obtained. Thus molecular breeding of crops can be realized by this biotechnique. The pollen tube pathway is demonstrated by tritium-labelled cotton DNA (> 50kb). The labelled DNA is injected into cotton ovaries from the center of the top 24 h after selfing. 30 min to 8 h later, the ovaries are removed. It is clearly shown that the exogenous DNA can only pass from the micrnphyle to the opened nucellus, and then reach the embryonic sac. 3H-DNA can be found in the embryonic sacs 30 min after injection. In more than 80% of the embryonic sacs 3H-DNA can be seen between 2 and 4 h after injection. No ~3H-DNA is found inside the pollen tubes. Therefore it is not through the pollen tube that DNA is carried into the embryonic sac.
