The aim of the work is to analyze the geomechanical factors that create risks in the construction and operation of underground workings in complex mining and geological conditions, development and classification according to the degree of impact on the safety of mining. In the paper, the methodological approach is used, which is recommended recommended by regulations widely used in a number of highly developed countries, in particular, the British standard \"OHSAS 18001\", which implements the current risk assessment and continuous correction of actions in accordance with the Schuhart - Deming PDCA cycle, as well as national standard DSTU IEC / ISO 31010: 2013 developed on the analysis of the european experience. Based on our own experience, a number of the most well-known geomechanical factors that create risks during the construction and operation of mine workings have been identified. Among them: depth of mining, geometric parameters of underground working, rock pressure, physical and mechanical properties of rocks, service life of underground working, type of support, hydrogeological structure of the massif, susceptibility to dynamic and gas-dynamic phenomena, stress-strain state of the massif, etc. These factors were classified according to the degree of risk. The factors are indicated, which require constant monitoring and development of special measures and their implementation in the production process in a limited period of time. The factors are separately highlighted, which affect the safety and economic performance of mining enterprises, but belong to the categories of \"moderate\" or \"insignificant\", and therefore require periodic monitoring and evaluation with further development of planned measures to eliminate or reduce them. Purpose of the work is to improve safety of miners. This technique is universal. Theoretical explanation is given to the problem of energy consumption diminish in the mode of fine grinding. Dependences between the product dispersion and critical energy density in the course of destruction are described. The acoustic-emissive parameters of dispersion of the samples loaded by compression and results of acoustic estimation of the jet grinding are considered. Interrelation between the gas-jet mill performance and parameters impacting on the energy consumption are analyzed. Grounds are given for using a criterion of extremal control of the working process for maintaining maximal performance. An acoustic size effect of dispersion is formulated by the analogy with dynamic size effect of destruction (DSE). A new approach to evaluation of energy consumed by the jet mill is developed from positions of unity of nature and mechanism of the loaded body destruction with community of manifestation of physical laws of acoustic emission and effects of new surface formation on the destroyed particles. Leading role in the methodology of energy consumption evaluation is given to the coefficient gN (J/imp) of transformation of the consumed energy into acoustic radiation at optimal mode of the mill operations (at maximum performance), which is calculated as a ratio of the reduced work (energy) to the acoustic signal counts in the grinding zone. Current energy consumption ЕDt (J) for period Dt (s) of work is calculated with taking into account coefficient gN (J/imp) and average (for the interval Dt) acoustic activity (imp/s). It is possible to maintain minimum energy consumption at the jet grinding by the snap-acting control of jets loading up to the level of the measured acoustic activity in the grinding zone, at which a “conditionally permanent” value of coefficient gN can be achieved. The results of acoustic evaluation of effective surface energy at optimal grinding mode correspond to the range of estimation gs in the regularity of the DSE destruction. Kozii","doi":"10.15407/geotm2022.163.005","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15407/geotm2022.163.005","url":null,"abstract":"In the article, based on the conducted research and analysis of the results of clustering, the most effective method of creating objective typification of zones of coal seam c6 of the Dniprovska Mine of different thickness according to germanium concentrations was established. The typification procedure is a systematization of objects according to a priori specified features. Cluster analysis, taxonomy, pattern recognition, and factor analysis are usually used for this purpose. The authors of the article carried out clustering using various methods implemented in the most different professional statistical software platforms, performed their analysis and justified the choice of the most optimal of them. The optimal method of clustering areas of different thicknesses of the coal seam was determined. The analysis of the dendrogram of the results of clustering by the weighted centroid-median method of the sites of the c6 seam by germanium content, unlike others, allows not only to achieve the most stable division of the entire set of sites under consideration, but also to maximize the visualization of their division by classes at different scale levels in the absence of a priori hypotheses regarding the number clusters and their forms. At the same time, the structure of clusters is clearly distinguished, regardless of the scale level of their formation, and the sequence of combining individual deposits and their groups into the resulting cluster is clearly traced. These advantages make it possible to make maximum use of already existing information for the development of natural typifications of с6 coal seam areas by germanium content and to interpret the obtained results in geological terms. It was established that the weighted centroid median method of cluster analysis is the most optimal for the subjectivity-free researcher to divide the sections of coal seam c6 of the Dniprovska Mine field according to germanium content into taxa. The constructed dendrograms of the clustering of deposits by germanium content can be used as a basis for the development of a natural typification of the coal seams of the Dniprovska Mine for their subsequent geological and economic assessment. This, in turn, will make it possible to make maximum use of already available information and interpret the obtained results in geological and genetic concepts, which will provide the opportunity to use it for the complex use of mineral raw materials and to solve strategic issues of sustainable development of Ukraine. The reason for this approximation seems to be the application of function derivatives. The greater the order of derivatives, the more accurately the function in vicinity of the selected point could be presented. However, there is a necessity exists to define functions at the point of the mathematical models during experimental studies in a variety field of science. Mostly, two types of the models are used - additive and multiplicative ones. The multiplicative model is distinguished by the practical sense as well as widespread use. The fact is that the nature of a particular function research for technology industrial problems consists in the sequential change of its parameters. The study of function change upon condition of a single parameter change involves the retention of other parameters of certain pre-selected values, i.e. at a certain point in the functional space of parameters. It is not always clear that the result of the experimental study is finding the values of the function exceptionally in the vicinity of this point, not within the function domain. Neglecting this circumstance along with attempts to find the values of the function far out beyond the vicinity of selected point leads to the values of the function with inappropriate error. The approximate representation of scalar functions in the multiplicative form in the vicinity of the point has a wide range of applications, especially for geomechanics. It turned out that the approximate representation of scalar functions in a multiplicative form at a point within the domain could be extended to the whole domain. Moreover, the maximum error of a representation at the boundary of the domain for geotechnical problems, as a rule, does not exceed 5-7%, which is acceptable for engineering calculations. To test an efficiency of the successive approximations method an applied geomechanical problem has been solved. The conclusion on the efficiency of method for geomechanical problem is made. An analytical method for calculating the parameters of the “stress – deformation” diagrams of prismatic samples with their wedge-shaped destruction is presented based on the distribution of the L. Prandtl contact stresses with using experimental values of four indicators of rock properties: shear resistance limit, internal and external friction coefficients, elastic modulus, which can be determined experimentally by simple methods in mining enterprises, where the calculation results can be promptly used. The method is based on the theory of local destruction of rocks along sliding lines developed by the authors. The theory makes it possible to determine the current values of the normal stresses at the crack tip during its development. As a strength criterion, the Coulomb strength criterion was adopted, supplemented by the authors by taking into account contact friction. The regularities of the distribution of normal stresses from contact friction were previously established by E.P. Unksov and L. Prandtl. The regularity of E.P. Unksov was used by the authors earlier to develop a method for calculating the strength limit of rock samples of the mentioned form of destruction. In this paper, the method is based on the method of L. Prandtl. To determine the strength limit, it was necessary to develop a method for calculating the parameters of “normal stress – longitudinal deformation” diagrams. The fact is confirmed that the stress at which the crack is formed is not the limit strength. The limit strength in the case of wedge-shaped destruction of the samples is the maximum value of the normal stress on the out-of-limit branch of the “stress- deformation” diagram. Some exorbitant curves have stress discharge, which are confirmed by experimental observations. At the moment of discharge, areas appear in the form of a so-called yield tooth, the formation of which we explain by the stresses discharge on the convex part of the slip line. In the middle part, the out-of-limit curves have stress jumps, which indicate the strengthening of the samples, which have not yet received any theoretical justification. We explain this phenomenon by the transition of the destruction process from the convex part of the slip line to the concave one. Comparison of the calculated strength limit of prismatic samples obtained according to the laws of distribution of contact normal stresses, exponential – by E.P. Unksov and linear – by L. Prandtl testifies to their practical identity.
