In the previous study, the performance of centrifugal pumps was calculated by varying the valve opening. In this study researchers varied motor rotation of 1000 rpm, 1200 rpm, 1400 rpm, 1600 rpm and 1800 rpm with open valve 100%. The results show that series configuration has higher head value than parallel configuration. While the parallel configuration has a higher capacity value than the series configuration. The highest pump efficiency for this pump performance test is in series configuration of 1800 rpm is 83.4% for experimental and 85% for simulation. Berat beban yang diangkat adalah ± 30 kg dengan suhu 85-90oC dan repetisi sebanyak 30 kali. Hal tersebut melebihi batas angkat yang di tetapkan oleh NIOSH yaitu 24.5 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan proses dengan menerapkan proses terintegrasi pada bak perebusan dan bakpenyaringan agar dapat mengeliminasi proses angkat dan meningkatkan efesiensi waktu dengan menggunakan metode Ovako Work Analysis System, Antropometri dengan postur kerja berdiri dan jam henti. Hasil data OWAS meenunjukkan bahwa postur tubuh pengangkatan air rebus kedelai berbahaya bagi kesehatan dan keselamatan pekerja (nilai OWAS yang diperoleh 3,5). Selanjutnya desain dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan stasiun bak perebusan dan penyaringan menggunakan mesin pompa dan pipa penghubung sehingga nilai OWAS menjadi nilai 1 yang berarti tidak ada masalah pada postur akhir. Untuk dimensi antropometri yang digunakan adalah Tinggi bahu berdiri 136,4 cm untuk tinggi keran output, tinggi mata berdiri 148,8 untuk tinggi sakelar mesin, dan jangkauan tangan kedepan untuk jarak keran input. Ada 5 parameter yang dibahas adalah amplitudo, perpindahan, kecepatan, percepatan, dan frekuensi alami dan mode getar. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh titik ukur untuk pengujian eksperimental yaitu discharge nozzle pompa kiri dan kanan, pembebanan pada motor dan casing motor. Kemudian lakukan uji eksperimental dan bandingkan hasil simulasi dan eksperimental. Pada umumnya gangguan muskuloskeletal terjadi apabila sistem muskuloskeletal menerima beban yang melampaui kapasitasnya dengan durasi pembebanan yang panjang. Pembebanan berlebih pada otot yang menyebabkan otot mengalami kontraksi melebihi 20% dari kekuatan maksimumnya , yang akan berdampak pada kurangnya peredaran darah ke otot . Adapun Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi Perbaikan Fasilitas Kerja Pada Alat Pengkilap Panci Untuk Memperbaiki Postur Kerja Pada Perusahan CV. XYZ. Pengukuran ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment ( REBA ) dan menggunakan Standard Nordic Questionnaire ( SNQ ) sebagai instrument penelitian . Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei analitik yang bertujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara sikap kerja dengan keluhan musculoskeletal dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Dari hasil kuesioner SNQ pada 6 orang pekerja menunjukkan bahwa keluhan muskuloskeletal yang dialami pekerja pengkilap panci berada pada kategori sakit terbanyak adalah pada leher atas dan leher bawah sebanyak 4 ( 66,7 % ) . Pada kategori sangat sakit terbanyak adalah pada tangan kanan dan pergelangan tangan kanan , tangan kiri dan pergelangan tangan kiri sebanyak 6 ( 100 % ) . Berdasarkan pengukuran dengan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment REBA dan Uji Chi - Squar e , dinyatakan terdapat skor REBA di antara 8 - 11 dimana skor tersebut berada pada daerah beresiko tinggi terhadap gangguan musculoskeletal dan pada skor REBA usulan yang dilakukan terdapat skor 5 dimana skor tersebut berada pada daerah beresiko Rendah. Merging several functions in a single product is often become the main focus for managers in research and product development departments to produce product design concepts in the present. The success of a product can be measured by how much the existence of the product can be accepted by the consumer so as to increase profit for the company or producer. Product design is an idea, concept development, testing that done before the production process of an object or product is done. The product designer evaluates the ideas and realizes them through the product. The design of products to be made in this research is multifunctional tissue box. Ideas for product design are obtained through brainstorming. The next step is to make a questionnaire based on the results of brainstorming to obtain information and know the consumer requirement for the product. In designing the tissue box, clarifying objectives is done in the form of objective trees and the functional analysis in the form of block diagrams. Then Quality Function Deployment is done to improve product quality based on consumer needs. Alternative generation with Morphological Chart is done to achieve solutions to product design problems. There were 4 alternatives with relative importance value for alternative 1 = 4.8719; alternative 2 = 3.7723; alternative 3 = 3.4941 and alternative 4 = 2.8785. The next step is to do value engineering on the product through improving details to increase the value of the product and decrease the production cost. Unqualified physical work environment such as noise that has exceeded the NAV is one of the examples faced by the workforce in the workplace. One of the activities that produce noise is the activity in the fiberline department in the pulp making industry which is the pulp making area. This study aims to map the noise and its effect on employee fatigue in the pulp making industry in the fiberline department. Research stages include noise measurement, noise mapping, filling out questionnaires by employees about work fatigue, calculation of questionnaire results, determining the effect of noise and work fatigue with regression analysis, and correlation determination. The noise mapping results at 30 point measurements indicate that the bleaching and pulp engine border areas exceed the safe threshold noise. Regression analysis results show the higher the noise level, the higher the level of work fatigue in employees. The result of correlation analysis is known that the correlation is positive or strongly correlated which shows that the effect of noise on fatigue is very strong. The problems those always be faced in indutries management’s are the arrangement of production schedule, such lack of inventory or overstock once the settlement of production process isn’t on time. Production planning and control is activity to determine what product that will be produced, how many product that will be produced and how many labors needed in production processes. By using production planning and control’s method, those problems can be minimalized. Aggregate planning is one of production planning a.nd control’s method. By using this method, production planning could be done by using unit of replacement product so that the output of this planning isn’t declared in individual product. So, the output of aggregate planning isn’t planning in form of individual product but aggregate’s product. There are some strategies on aggregate planning such as pure strategy on aggregate planning and mixed strategy on aggregate planning. In this research, method of aggregate planning that used is optimization approach by linier rule. This method used to make long term planning and middle term planning. Long term planning consists of product forecasting and aggregate planning. The middle term planning consist of master production schedule and rough cut capacity planning. The result of this research is capacity needed and capacity available to determine which work center is drum and which isn’t. Conclusion of this research that capacity of each work center in perioad january to december 2018 is non drum. To produce a number of products with a uniform design of the required tools in the form of jig. Problems occurred at one of the furniture industry is the high sets up time due completion of the jig for use. Damaged Jigs, no precision, and unavailable jigs become the main reason for set up time be longer. The impact of time disrupted production and production targets are not reached. These problems can be overcome with management tools so that the tool/jig is ready for use in times of need. Using the tool management long setup time can be reduced because equipment is not ready for use and storage techniques by replacing the jig into removing the clamp handle can minimize the need of storage space. The settings storage location having regard to the level of usage can accelerate the process of supply to jig machining settings that the setup of jig include storage layout using the principles of popularity, making the procedure management of the jig in the room.
