Handling this vast amount of data in medical field is challenging, so there is a need to mine this data in order to extract useful patterns for disease prediction. A hybrid K-means and Support Vector Machine algorithm for disease prediction is proposed in this paper. The proposed hybrid K-means algorithm is helpful in choosing initial centroids, number of clusters and also to improve the efficiency of K-means algorithm. The hybrid K-means algorithm is used for dimensionality reduction of the dataset which is given as an input to Support Vector Machine classifier. The simulation is performed in MATLAB and from the results it has been analysed that the accuracy of the classification is improved and the processing time to obtain the final output is reduced.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129200248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has to be self-structured. The MANET has few specific goals. These are mobility extensions into wireless domain and autonomous mobile dominion. In this set of specified nodes that form adhoc network with routing infrastructure too. Multicasting is responsible for transferring information efficiently from a source to any destination; duplication of messages and delivery takes place only once and that too at the branch points, due to splitting of the destination links. The authors have successfully been able to address several issues relating to MANET, especially multicasting, its routing protocols and qualitative comparisons. Further, in this paper, authors propose optimized routing protocols with multicasting. It deals with receiver behavior, deployment considerations and routing mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134057667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Performance comparison of all this four methods has been presented in this paper. To achieve low pay load with high robustness was the aim of this work. The 3rd and 4th method presented in this paper uses scene change detection technique for insertion of watermark as that particular frame of video having scene change characteristics is one of the most important frame in the video. The 4th method is found to be of lowest payload as compared to all other three methods and also results high robustness particular to frame swapping, frame dropping and mpeg compression. The performance of watermarking methods is calculated by peak signal to noise ratio and correlation coefficient to measure the robustness of the watermark schemes against different attacks.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129361814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the technique is accepted widely, due to its fast testing speed, low cost. The present paper deals with the data processing part of images obtained from the lock-in experiments for defect detection. The SNR calculation forms an important part of lock-in experiments for quantitative study of defects at different depth. The results of SNR are based on the way a signal is defined. The algorithm followed for SNR calculation, thus is important. An algorithm for SNR calculation for defect quantification in lock-in thermal wave imaging is described here.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"84 Pt 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129022539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to various reasons, such as changes in the execution environment, these systems may need to adapt their behavior. Although, adaptation at the system level has been extensively studied, developing adaptive services to start-with has not received any significant attention. This paper describes a framework for formalizing the concept of adaptation at the service level, leading to the \"service adaptation by construction\" approach. Hence, the proposed work will help software developers in identifying the important adaptation categories at the service level.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127905981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tendering process cannot be completed without proper sealing of the quotation envelope. In E-tendering this is done through cyclic redundancy check of the video frames, the CRC process is very time consuming and mathematically complex. Here proposed method for E-tendering is secured with attack resistant data hiding method. We planned to implement the use of multilevel cryptography and Steganography in E tendering. In this method biding amount hide from third party through multilevel process. Amount is embedded into frequency domain of logo image. Three level DWT is also used to increase the level data security. In this if someone tampers with video having secret information, it is still readable due to secret extraction using attack resistant embedding.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125596450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A feed forward ANN with six inputs and eleven outputs has been developed for the detection and classification of faults. Data was generated by simulating a 400 kV, 50Hz, 100 km transmission line in PSCAD/EMTDC at a sampling frequency of 2 kHz. Three ANN configurations with different combinations of inputs have been attempted. Initially all the three ANN configurations were trained and tested using truncated data for their comparative performance. ANN-2 configuration has been found to be the best one and has an accuracy of 100% for fault detection and classification in both training and testing phases with the relay operating time of 12.5 ms. ANN-2 has been further trained and tested using full data. Two-fold cross verification was carried out. An accuracy of 100% was obtained on testing with 12.5 ms delay each time.","PeriodicalId":220344,"journal":{"name":"2016 1st India International Conference on Information Processing (IICIP)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117037223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Energy available in different form like heat energy, solar energy, wind energy, etc. In our day to day life importance of alternative and renewable energy source increases year by year because of limited availability of non-renewable energy source. Hence it is necessary to take preventive action and increase the use of renewable energy source. Renewable energy source includes mainly solar energy, wind energy, vermin-composing, etc. For that purpose we address the issue related to renew-able energy source like windmills. In this paper we present maintenance related to wind farms which consist of number of windmills using wireless technique. We used reasonable and elastic wireless sensors networks can be installed within a large structure to evaluate the response and performing monitoring algorithms.
