Based on observations by researcher in class of physics education students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, students still have difficulty in representing the graphs. This study aims to know the ability of students in graphs representation and find solutions to problems. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research by giving pre-test and post-test questions. The assessment of students’ ability to represent graphs is in the sufficient category with a percentage of 64.64%. The assessment of students' abilities to represent graphics increased by 16.36% to 81.0%. Socio-scientific norms are rules derived from mathematical values brought into the social context.  norms are seen as being able to increase students' understanding. The main focus in this research are, (1) Analyzing social content in elementary natural sciences learning courses; (2) Describe the process of social interaction on research subjects; and (3) describe the relationship between social interaction and natural sciences learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Study subjects was 100 prospective elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques was using survey methods and analysis of student’s final exam in natural sciences test. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis. From the research, the results are obtained: (1) Mathematical content in the lecture process has been raised by the lecturer. The lecture system in the form of group discussions can improve students' communication, courage and collaboration skills. (2) The description of students' social interactions can be modeled. Social interaction models show social interaction can be in the form of associative and dissociative. (3) There is a relationship between social interaction with learning outcomes in natural sciences. The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of science teachers on STEM-based science learning. The research subjects were 40 MGMP science teachers in Surakarta and Karanganyar. This research is a case study research. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results showed that the perceptions of science teachers were: a) The majority of science teachers still did not understand STEM; b) STEM is learning approach that combines aspects of science, technology, mathematics and engineering; c) Scientific forums such as seminars, workshops, and training and education are the main sources of STEM promotion for science teachers; d) The majority of science teachers have the perception that STEM is useful in improving 21st century skills; e) Teachers are very interested in applying STEM in learning. This is evidenced by 85% of respondents have implemented STEM learning in their learning design; f) STEM is a learning approach that is relevant to the 2013 curriculum and 21st century learning; g) the majority of science teachers still find it difficult to implement STEM learning. The study of teachers' perceptions of learning plays an important role in formulating ideas for teacher professional development programs. The population of this research is all students of XII SMA Negeri 4 Bandarlampung. The selection of research samples using purposive sampling technique with a sample of class XII Science 3 totale sample are 30 students as an experimental class. The research design used was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data were tested by N-gain analysis, normality test, and Paired Sample T-Test. Based on research conducted, using the Paired Sample T-Test, the Sig. (2-Tailed) is less than 0.05 which is 0,000, so it can be stated that there is an influence of problem based learning models on practicum-based student argumentation skills in the method of converting heat to electricity. The average N-gain (g) of argumentation skills in the experimental class is 0.80 with a high category. Based on the results of student argumentation tests show that 89.5% are categorized as Claims, namely students are able to express their opinions in written form based on the understanding of the questions given, 83.0% are categorized as Data, ie students understand the questions given so that they can write down any information based on the knowledge they know, 80.2% is categorized as a warrant, ie students are able to explain the relationship between Data and Claims. This shows that the problem based learning model is very effective and has a big impact on the improvement of argumentation skills. However, in fact, one of the problems found was the low interest of students in learning physics, causing students to lack understanding of the concepts in learning physics, resulting in low student learning outcomes. In this literature study research the authors use various written sources such as articles, journals and relevant documents. Based on the studies that have been obtained, it states that the more interested students are in a concept that is being studied, the less likely it is that misconceptions will arise. Lack of interest in physics causes students to be reluctant to understand concepts, leading to misconceptions. Misconception refers to concepts that are incompatible with the scientific understanding accepted by experts. Misconception problems and student interest in learning are not easy to solve.
