The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' scientific literacy skills through the application of problem based learning. This research was conducted using classroom action research methods in the Engineering Physics course. Each indicator of scientific literacy has increased from cycle I to cycle II. The scientific literacy context indicator increased from 67.86% to 82.14%, the knowledge indicator increased from 60.71% to 85.71%. Competency indicators also progressed from 53.57% to 78.57%, while attitude indicators experienced a fairly high increase from 42.86% to 75%. This indicates that students' scientific literacy skills can be improved through problem based learning. It is hoped that the use of this media can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, interests and attention of students so that the learning process can run well. This research is a type of development research or known as Research & Development. One of these development models that is in accordance with the development of multimedia-based learning media is the 4-D model. Student learning outcomes after using the Science practicum video based on a scientific approach to substance classification material and its changes in the acid-base video small group test obtained an average score of 91 with the criteria of \"Very Good\" meaning that the student's grades were better than before. Based on the results of these tests, it can be concluded that the increase in student learning test results in the science practicum video media based on a scientific approach to the topic of substance classification and its changes to the acid-base video from the small group trial increased by 0.70 in the range g ? 0.7, which can be classified as category \"High\". Meanwhile, student learning outcomes after using the science practicum video based on a scientific approach to the topic of substance classification and its changes in the small group test of the mixed separation video obtained an average score of 77 with the criterion \"Good\", meaning that the student's grades were better than before. The research method used in this study is an experimental method, this method is intended to find the relationship of certain variables to other variables under tightly controlled conditions. The characteristics contained in this study include: manipulation, control or control, and observation. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon marked level method to test differences, this method is used to analyze the impact caused by a treatment or stimulus as well as to test the difference in the values ??of two populations represented by two sample groups. This study concludes that the learning method through narrative studies is proven to be able to make students more mastery of materials related to heavy metal pollution. The learning model that can overcome the weaknesses of these students is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the improvement of Statistics learning outcomes for Civil Engineering Study Program students through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest research design. The research sample was students of the Civil Engineering Study Program, Graha Nusantara University, Padangsidimpuan, third semester , Academic Year 2021-2022, totaling 40 people. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is able to increase the statistical learning outcomes of students of the Civil Engineering Study Program at Graha Nusantara University, Padangsidimpuan by 23.08% which is characterized by an increase in individual learning mastery, the highest score, the lowest score and the average score of Statistics learning outcomes. Data were collected through analyzing the students’ descriptive text task in English and Arabic languages. Then the data which collected is presented in the form of a description. Based on the finding, it is known that noun in English and Arabic have some types. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, person product moment correlation coefficient analysis (r) and multiple correlation analysis (R) at a significant level of 0.5. \u0000The results showed that: (1) There was a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination and shooting skills in the basketball game of students at SMAN 1 Seisuka, Batubara Regency with an r value of 0.537. (2) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and shooting ability in the basketball game of SMAN 1 Seisuka students, Batubara Regency with an r value of 0.611. The population of this study was all students of class VII SMPN 1 Rantau Utara totaling 373 students consisting of grades VII 1 to VII 9 . The sample of this research was taken by using cluster random sampling technique as many as 3 classes, each class consisted of 34 students. Class A as problem based learning class, class B as class everyone is a teacher here, and class C as the expository class. The data collection instrument for students' problem solving abilities was used to test the description of environmental pollution material. The data analysis technique used covariate analysis technique (ANACOVA) with =0.05. The results obtained are the results of covariate analysis showing that the learning model has a significant effect on problem solving abilities (F=414,239; P=0.000). The average problem-solving ability of the problem-based learning class has an effect of 3.3, which is higher than the class everyone is a teacher here and 34.18, which is higher than the expository. Class everyone is a teacher here to give the effect of 30.88 higher than expository.
