Nanocomposite Polymer Electrolyte (NCPE) films were prepared with a blend of two polymers: poly ethylene oxide (80wt% PEO) and poly vinylidene fluoride (20wt% PVDF) complexed with a salt, sodium perchlo-rate (7.5wt% NaClO 4 ) and a nano-filler, iron oxide ( x wt% Fe 2 O 3 ) (i.e., (0.8PEO/0.2PVDF) + 7.5wt% NaClO 4 + x wt% Fe 2 O 3 . The complexation and surface morphology of prepared NCPE films have been investigated using XRD and SEM techniques, respectively. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) studies were done in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 4 MHz to understand the Na-ion transportation, dielectric relaxation and electric modulus of the prepared NCPE films. The impact of Fe 2 O 3 nano-filler concentration (Fe 2 O 3 wt%) on the Na-ion transportation, dielectric relaxation and ionic conductivity has been studied. The AC conductivity of all the prepared NCPE films at high frequency followed the Jonscher’s power law. The DC ionic conductivity values calculated from the bulk resistance ( R b ) of the NCPE films were consistent with the values calculated using Jonscher’s power law. The temperature-dependent ionic conductivity followed the Arrhenius rule between 303 and 333 K. The highest ionic conductivity of 1 . 13 × 10 − 4 S/cm was achieved at ambient temperature for the NCPE-16 film (0.8PEO/0.2PVDF) + 7.5wt% NaClO 4 + 16wt% Fe 2 O 3 , and it is due to lowest crystallinity of NCPE-16 film. The ionic and electronic transport numbers of all the NCPE films were calculated using Wagner’s polarization technique.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131323554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A modified Sood model was used to investigate the effects of rotation - vibration. As a consequence, it is indicated that the energy expression as a rational polynomial (RP) in total angular momentum I provides an excellent approximation to the ground state band excitation energies in U ( A = 230 – 238). The shape of the nucleus in uranium even-even isotopes is controlled by a softness parameter, and the softness is believed to prevent the nucleus from becoming a rigid entity. The reason is discussed on the basis of the centrifugal stretching as well as the shrinkage.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"22 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120811095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present a reconstruction of an f ( R ) gravity cosmological model from polytropic scalar field. For the purpose of reconstruction, we consider an equivalence between the f ( R ) gravity and scalar-tensor gravity and obtain exact forms of f ( R ) functions and the scalar field potentials. Further, we study the universe under two asymptotic scenarios of early universe and late universe and obtain the forms of the function f ( R ) and the corresponding potentials. We find that the functions f ( R ) satisfy the viability conditions.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115556139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A peptide can be used as a functional building block to create arti-ficial structures when there is sufficient displacement and functional ability in terms of its assigned function. The nature and the relative strength of the inter-molecular interactions between the components of the liquid mixtures/solutions have been investigated by ultrasonic method. In the present study density ( ρ ), ultrasonic velocity ( u ) and viscosity ( η ) of the ternary solutions of peptide–amide with electrolyte have been measured at 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K respectively, over the entire composition range using digital density meter, ultrasonic interferometer and Cannon Fenske viscometer respectively. The measured data have been used to compute the thermodynamic parameters such as internal pressure and free volume. The results have been analyzed on the basis of variation in concentrations and temperatures. The results obtained from the ultrasonic methods using the basic parameters have been correlated with FT-IR and Antimicrobial studies and they have been interpreted in terms of peptide–amide interactions. Semi-Organic Magnesium Sulfate-doped L-Leucinium oxalate (MSLO) single crystal was grown using slow evaporation method. Structure of the crystal was determined by single-crystal X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Lattice parameters of MSLO crystal were determined. Optical transmittance study was carried out to find various linear optical parameters like band gap, reflectance, refractive index, absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, optical conductivity. Vickers Microhardness study was carried out to find mechanical properties such as hardness, work hardening coefficient, brittleness index and fracture toughness of the grown MSLO crystal. Kurtz-Perry powder technique with Nd: YAG laser was applied to study the second harmonic generation (SHG) competency. By using Z-scan technique, third-order NLO efficiency of MSLO crystal was calculated. LDT study was also done for MSLO crystal. It is observed that magnesium sulfate-doped L-leucinium oxalate (MSLO) crystal has the superior properties compared to that of undoped L-leucinium oxalate crystal. EDS studies were conducted for MSLO crystal to check the elements present in the crystal.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121925532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present communication deals with the tilted Bianchi type-VI 0 bulk viscous string cosmological models in Sáez-Ballester theory of gravitation. To obtain an exact solution of the field equations, we consider three feasible physical relations, viz. , expansion scalar θ as proportional to one of the components of the shear scalar σ , bilinear varying deceleration parameter (BVDP) and bulk viscosity coefficient ξ as a simple power function of the energy density ρ . We also discuss the behaviour of physical and geometrical parameters of the obtained models. For the stability of the solution, the nature of energy conditions is explored graphically. The findings of the models are in good agreement with the observational data.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115901440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present study the anisotropic spatially homogeneous Bianchi type-I (B-I) cosmological models in normal gauge for Lyra’s manifold has been studied.A deterministic solution by considering the time dependent deceleration parameter which gives average scale factor a ( t ) = [sinh( αt )] 1 /n has been obtained. Einstein’s modified field equations for the homogeneous Binachi Type I metric are solved. Our models are in accelerating phase which is consistent to the recent observations. It has been found that the displacement vector β behaves like cosmological term Λ in the normal gauge treatment and the solutions are consistent with recent observations of SNe Ia. It has been found that massive strings dominate in the decelerating universe whereas strings dominate in the accelerating universe. The strings dominate in the early universe and eventually disappear from the universe for sufficiently large times. This is in consistent with the current observations. Some physical and geometric behaviour of these models are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":217381,"journal":{"name":"Bulgarian Journal of Physics","volume":"297 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122796555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
