Analytical dependencies are formulated for the calculation of the flame front speed by the time-of-flight method with the determination of the time delay by four methods: threshold method; method on the basis of the cross-correlation function; method based on the envelope correlation coefficient; method based on cross-spectral density. The results of study of the proposed methods for accuracy of the time delay determining for the simulated noisy signals and for the characteristic experimental signals obtained by recording radiation of non-stationary combustion are presented. The method based on the cross-correlation function is optimal for the implementation of the system. The influence of the analysis time range of the detector signals on the error in determining the time delay was estimated. Criteria for selecting the lower and upper boundaries of the time window were formulated. Algorithm for determining of the flame front speed from the signals of electro-optical flame detectors is proposed.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"174 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121253759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system delivers illuminance control using a webcam. The method for illuminance control proposed in the paper makes it possible to deliver uniform illuminance as required by regulatory documents and taking into account the natural light available. The method was implemented in a room model using an Arduino UNO board. C# software for the LED illuminance adjustment system was developed in Visual Studio.NET. A webcam was used as a light sensor. The new development can be potentially used to create shadowless LED lighting for healthcare institutions and enterprises that use high-precision equipment.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125323716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Proposed system uses low-cost consumer grade MEMS accelerometer attached to the individual’s forearm and measuring the tilt angle of the forearm relative to the gravity vector. Flexing the elbow above a predetermined threshold flexion angle triggers the triceps electrical stimulation. Among other things, the system is capable to transmit inertial data to external devices via Bluetooth. The operability of the system has been validated with healthy individuals and the results showed its potential as a tool for upper extremity rehabilitation after stroke.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132877761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents a brief review of the bypass power supply implementation for the medium voltage AC drive with a cascaded H-bridge converter. Special attention was paid to the solution with using a current balancing reactor and a preliminary voltages synchronization. To illustrate a proper operation of the method the experiment was performed through the downscaled prototype of the frequency converter based on a 7-level cascaded H-bridge converter inverter. The experimental results proved the effectiveness of the technique for the AC drives with the cascaded H-bridge converter multilevel inverter.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133814312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
