Not only have environmental benefits, but city parks are also beneficial for the community in social improvement, as they become places for human interaction and integration. Khon Kaen City, one of the city centers in Thailand, continues to grow from what was originally only a small rural area. Thus the existence of city parks is fundamental. Since sitting is an activity that can open opportunities for social interaction and create the vitality of urban space, the importance of creating seating that can maximize the social interaction (sociopetal) of the community in the city park is needed. However, the seating facilities in Khon Kaen city parks are dominated by linear seating characteristics that can minimize social interaction (sociofugal). This study aims to investigate the relationship between the sociopetality of seating facilities design and communities' social activity. Data on seating facilities design characteristics and communities' social activity collected through behavioral mapping in three city parks in Khon Kaen were analyzed using chi-square and odd ratio. The results showed a significant relationship between the sociopetality of seating facilities design and communities' social activity. Sociopetal seats tend to be used 2.4 times more often for social activity than individual activity. This finding can be a reference for architects, planners, and designers to increase social activity in city parks.","PeriodicalId":214525,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding International Conference on Science and Engineering","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115788997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is both environmentally and economically favorable. It was well prepared in this study using a cost-effective thermal stirring procedure. The X-ray diffraction method at ambient temperature was used to explain the formation of single spinel structure, purity, and cat-ion distribution of the material, and the lattice constant of mesoporous Cobaltosic oxide nanoparticles was 8.23 Å. SEM and EDX examination were used to investigate phase formation, elemental content, and surface morphology. The average particle size for primitive mesoporous Cobaltosic oxide nanoparticles is 17nm. DRS determined the band gap for mesoporous Cobaltosic oxide nanoparticles to be 1.48 eV for direct band bending and 2.19 eV for indirect band gap. The sensitivities of the sample are greater due to the mesoporous-structures with a large surface area. Mesoporous Cobaltosic oxide nanoparticles have a greater specific surface area (59.63m2 g− 1), resulting in good acetone gas sensing characteristics at the optimal working temperature of 150°C. Furthermore, the sample exhibits high stability and selectivity against acetone gas. The gas-sensing mechanism is determined by comparing the sensitivity of Mesoporous Cobaltosic oxide nanoparticles to surface oxygen and acetone gas adsorption. It is the best among the top other materials, according to the results.","PeriodicalId":214525,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding International Conference on Science and Engineering","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117345303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve this problem, It is proposed that we use an intelligent and automatic presence management system. Using this framework, the problem of proxies and tagged students present while they are not physically present can easily be resolved. This system marks the attendance using live video stream. The frames are extracted from video using Open CV. The main implementation stages used in this type of system are detection and recognition of the detected face, for which dlib is used. After this, the connection of the acknowledged faces should be conceivable by comparing with the database containing the faces of the students. It will be an effective technique to manage student attendance..","PeriodicalId":214525,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding International Conference on Science and Engineering","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121443450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To host their software and applications in the Cloud, all commercial enterprises and academic institutions make use of one hosting platform or another. Additionally, a lot of these organisations or companies have excess or underused computing resources, even though they are fully functional but lack the necessary capacity to function as a standard workstation, leading to the creation of e-waste. The method for combining these extra computing resources into a single datacenter Private Cloud that can execute applications, containers, and virtual machines is presented in this paper. Using smart devices, most of the people are able to obtain convenient clinical images of their face skin condition. On the other hand, the convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have achieved near or even better performance than human beings in the imaging field. Therefore, this paper studied different CNN algorithms for face skin disease classification based on the clinical images. First, from Xiangya–Derm, which is, to the best of our knowledge, China’s largest clinical image dataset of skin diseases, we established a dataset that contains 2656 face images belonging to six common skin diseases [seborrheic keratosis (SK), actinic keratosis (AK), rosacea (ROS), lupus erythematosus (LE), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)]. We performed studies using five mainstream network algorithms to classify these diseases in the dataset and compared the results. Then, we performed studies using an independent dataset of the same disease types, but from other body parts, to perform transfer learning on our models. Comparing the performances, the models that used transfer learning achieved a higher average precision and recall for almost all structures. In the test dataset, which included 388 facial images, the best model achieved 92.9%, 89.2%, and 84.3% recalls for the LE, BCC, and SK, respectively, and the mean recall and precision reached 77.0% and 70.8%","PeriodicalId":214525,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding International Conference on Science and Engineering","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116097380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The user is immersed in a three-dimensional experience thanks to virtual reality. Users engage with 3D worlds instead of just seeing a screen in front of them. Virtual reality can be utilized in the travel business to capture tourist places in a distinctive and immersive way. These virtual travel experiences try to replicate the genuine destination as closely as they can. The use of virtual reality (VR) in tourism is currently widespread. People enjoy travelling and learning about new locations, and thanks to virtual reality (VR), they can now learn about and experience a place without actually being there. It is world -wide phenomenon that affects the place of origin and destination of migrants. Migration has been understood as temporary or permanent shifting of place of labour from one region to another region, from one country to another country in a particular period of time. Migration has a number of socio-economic, cultural, political and demographic impacts on the lives of the migrant workers.  There are many types of migration prevailing in India and elsewhere in the recent past, the inter-state migration has been most prevalent in the most of the Indian states. It is worthwhile to note here, the Inter-state migration poses a variety of challenges to state, for instance the state and centre government unable to keep record of data on the movement of migrant labour from one state to another state(s) or government at central and state level facing difficulties to assess their socio-economic abilities. This paper will explore the reasons for such migration, identify the socio-economic status of inter-state migrant workers and trying to frame suitable policy to enhance the livelihood of the migrant workers.","PeriodicalId":214525,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding International Conference on Science and Engineering","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122792355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
