The study aimed to dig up deeply the experience of male patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 who underwent sexual dysfunction. The qualitative study with phenomenology approach was applied in this study. We collected the data by using an interview method. Fifteen samples were recruited using the purposive sampling technique and selected from Endocrine Polyclinic Martha Friska Hospital. The interview transcriptions were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis approach. Four themes related to the patients’ experience on sexual dysfunction have been analyzed in this study including 1) feeling that the sexual libido was high in the midst of the limitation of sexual dysfunction, 2) inferior feelings toward mates, 3) attempting to adapt to sexual changes, 4) trying to solve sexual problems in different ways. The participant had bad experience wich influence their quality of life with their partner. We suggested to the health care providers, including doctors, nurses, etc. to design the cultural program for addressing the sexual problem and completed the facilities for sexual favors. \u0000Keywords: type 2 diabetes mellitus, Experience, sexual dysfunction","PeriodicalId":214399,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Nursing and Health Services (IJNHS)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131551151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is indicated by the size of the fundus uterine, which is greater than the normal size and elongated outflow of lochia. One of the non-pharmacological methods for preventing sub uterine involution is postpartum yoga which focuses on physical and breathing exercises, strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles, and relaxation of autosuggestions. The study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of postpartum yoga on uterine involution. A quasi-experimental, pre-test and post-test with the control group was applied in this study. Thirty-eight postpartum women received postpartum yoga as the intervention group. The control group was comprised of 19 women. The gain score of uterine involution in the intervention group was 9.14 ± 1.27 and in the control group 7.20 ± 1.11. The Cohen’s effect size test is 1.63. The result of the mann whitney test showed that there was a significant difference between the intervention group and the control group with p value 0,000. The result of determination (R Square), postpartum yoga had an effect of 40.3% on uterine involution after being controlled simultaneously with parity, frequency of breastfeeding, and anxiety. Postpartum yoga is effective to strengthen the uterine muscles, facilitate blood circulation, and stimulate neurohormonal so it could accelerate uterine involution. Further studies could measure of fundus uterine daily. Future researchers can develop postpartum yoga research with other variables such as anxiety, urinary incontinence, quality of life for postpartum women, and hormonal variables including oxytocin, endorphins, and cortisol. \u0000Keywords: postpartum yoga, postpartum period, postpartum exercise, uterine involution","PeriodicalId":214399,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Nursing and Health Services (IJNHS)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133433450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pregnancy anxiety is associated with neurotransmitter dysregulation and endocrine changes in the Hypothalamus Pituitary Adrenal (HPA) axis pathway through the increase of synthesis and the release of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) and cortisol to suppress endorphin hormone production. This study aims to determine the relationship of endorphin hormone levels to pregnancy anxiety. This study was an observational study using a cross-sectional approach to 57 pregnant women. The anxiety level was measured by using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and the ELISA kit with plasma specimens was employed to examine the endorphin hormone levels. This case study aims to describe the change signs and symptoms of anxiety on adolescent in earthquake prone area that giving relaxation and distraction techniques. The subjects of this study were four high-school-adolescent-students suffering from moderate anxiety about earthquake and were measured by Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The results reveal that anxiety levels of all subjects decreases with average HARS score is 11,5.
