There is a big challenge on the way of designing and developing IT-enabled cultural performance service systems, i.e., there are so many kinds of actors in the service and the interactions between them are very complex; in addition, related service resources and their state transitions are quite diversified. Facing this challenge, we briefly survey the industry: to identify the actors and their value exchange relations, to identify the key resources and the corresponding state transitions and to model the collaborative processes between actors. The modeling of actors, value networks, resources and processes will support the development of a comprehensive cultural performance service ecosystem based on SOA related techniques.","PeriodicalId":213782,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Service Sciences (ICSS)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131736514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Construction supervision, however, is facing the problem of isolated processes, which may increase the workload and the risk of making mistakes. This phenomenon is often seen in public service network and is worth studying. To deal with this problem, an integrated collaboration model for public service network in construction supervision is needed. In this paper, the framework of the model and its three sub-models is introduced. Process model organizes isolated processes to treat them as a whole. Organization model helps with collaborative supervision in related agencies. Data model makes it possible to exchange information seamlessly. With the help of them, collaborative supervision can be realized and the supervision network will be more effective.","PeriodicalId":213782,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Service Sciences (ICSS)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132882617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, composite web service need transaction to ensure the composition execute correctly and reliably. However, the introduction of transaction affects QoS analysis of composite web service. Therefore, how to analyze the QoS based on transaction becomes very meaningful. This paper addresses time performance analysis based on transaction. Firstly, transaction properties (compensatable, pivot and retriable) of a single service and composite web service are introduced. Then performance analysis of basic workflows is proposed; Finally, a general algorithm that can compute the execute time of a complex composite web service is given and an example is used to illustrate the process of the time performance.","PeriodicalId":213782,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Service Sciences (ICSS)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123971115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Few equipment management information systems (MIS) are built nowadays, even in areas like equipment reservation. Existing systems are geo-diverse and hard to be integrated, thus services that could enhance the usage of large equipments is needed. Cloud computing has SOA architecture based on the pay-for-use model, the underlying infrastructure is suited for highly distributed environments. This paper introduces China Equipment and Education Resource System (CERS), and proposes a system named LECloud (Large Equipments Cloud) based on a private cloud, providing large equipment information service and equipment knowledge service as an e-learning platform. It's a highly heterogeneous and geo-distributed system that provides on-demand services. We drew up standards for interfaces and realized the business integration for large equipment usage. We also designed a cloud management framework along with an effective scheduling strategy, aiming to provide better services to scientific researchers in SaaS level.","PeriodicalId":213782,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Service Sciences (ICSS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131039314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, selection only based on function and QoS is not enough for business services. Reputation based trust is becoming more and more important in selection and recommendation of services. In current reputation management, the lacks of customization and improper aggregation function could lead to dissatisfactory result. In this paper, a cross-platform feedback based reputation management method is proposed to support the customer's comprehensive requirement including preference, and to be able to analyze the evaluation of past consumers more exactly. This model can solve the problems of data structure's difference and rating's unfairness. Finally the implementation framework is introduced to achieve these functions.","PeriodicalId":213782,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Service Sciences (ICSS)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134381575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
